My uncle had purchased an U.K. made 4 valve radio from Bombay in 1948 n had given us,for my daddy was very fond of radio.I used to listen this song of Amirbai Karnataki's song on radio in 1954,at that time I was in adolescent age.To day i came across this B/W gem of golden time, this beautiful lyrical poem gave me reminiscences of my deceased parents, who used to listen this song occasionally.Today neither is my parents nor the classical period of Indian movie. No gold, scrap everywhere. 3.8.2011.
