  • Letterman always makes Orielly look like the dumb bitch that he is

  • Letterman should stick to comedy.

And is his audience bused in from Bill Maher's show?

    More brain dead sheep.

  • only reason Letterman gets any applause is because he makes the simpletons argument of "oh but if we only did such&such else differently, they would love us"

they hate us because we are affluent, and their own gov'ts keep their people down, and blame us for their own dictatorial actions. same way Chavez tells his people "you are poor because the US" did so-and-so... same way Castro did the same thing... all the while Chavez & Castro live in opulence!

    funny how that works

  • Letterman - "Why are we there?"

Answer - "We are there so they don't fight us HERE, dumbass!!!"

  • @Zaxxon2008 There's always going to be terrorism. Are we always going to police the world? Your the dumbass.

  • O'Reilly pwned Letterman

  • Hey Dave, where has Cindy Shehan been since Obama took office?? In fact where has Code pink, the protestors, the Democrat Congressmen badmouthing our troops, the blocking of military recruitment centers??? Where OH Where are the liberals??? Why won't the media report DAILY troop deaths anymore??

Fucking HYPOCRITES! You bastards don't give a SHIT about war, you just wanted to bash Bush you phony cocksuckers! Now that Obama is in office, Cindy Sheehan is chopped liver! No longer usefull!

  • is there any doubt remaining that david let me smoke pot is a complete fucking anti american, sociialist idiot

  • M-one-six (M-16)? I always thought it was M-eye-six (MI-6).

  • assholes like orilley is whats fucked up with the usa!!

  • LOL "im not smart enough to debate you but i am smart enough to know 60 percent of what you say is crap" brilliant david simply brilliant!

  • @xYouthAttackx Let me guess, You're a product of public(gov't) education?? That was about as brilliant as something my 11 year old would come up with!!!!!! LMAO!! Idiot!

  • CLASSIC! Letterman immediatly switches the topic after Oreilly turns the tables on him.

  • @getrichwithpaul It's not even like letterman was winning the debate at the earlier part of the video. it just seem that way cos there's someone giving the audience cues to clap for david letterman. That's why letterman kept getting applause. But the applause that O'Reilly later got was clearly spontaneus.

  • 1:25 'blowing the hell out of them' LOL......

  • And Bill O"rielly Is a Fucktard. And palin Is Just a CUMMM catcher for the republican party for the GOP

  • there was a time, many years ago, that letterman was truly groundbreaking and cutting-edge funny. Now, he is but a shell and has become a grumpy old man who hypocritally bangs his interns and calls-out others who do the same. I don't want to hear his liberal rants - just give me a good show to watch. Oh wait, that was 1985.

  • Watching this makes me despise Letterman a bit more (I already felt he just wasn't very funny,) and respect - to my surprise - O'Reilly. I mean, ''Why are we there in the first place'' had nothing to do with the issue at hand, it was dishonest way to change direction. I hate Fox News and O'Reilly, but at least they're broadly on the side of the angels. We've too many with over-sympathy for our enemies, & who agree with their narrative, about imperialism and victimhood.

  • Anyone stupid enough to join the army/navy/air-force/marines gets exactly what they deserve.

  • David Letterman, the intelligence Bush used was CRIPPLED by the Democrats who DESTROYED the intelligence agencies via idiotic rules, the elimination of human assets and budget cuts.

  • point for bill....he even convinced the liberal crowd by the end of the interview

  • I think Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh and the other fox news guy, the fat failed comedian, may be the four horsemen. They're all American

  • I think Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly and that other fox guy, the fat failed comedian my be the four horsemen. They're all American.

  • @timmpatable theyre all idiots

  • Wow. i have a renewed respect for Letterman!

  • He is not speaking for her Letterman dick. He is your guest on a late ight show. Cindy Shewoman is an idiot. We were there because he violated all the mandates. He also murdered 100ds or thousands of people. Obama appoints the same General and is called brilliant by left wind media but they ridiculed Bush for appointing Gen David Petraeus and ridiculed the General. One sided Hippo-crites.

  • I have seen the factor and he might as do most host, dominate but more than not he gives people a fair shake but letterman only wants to insult people and letterman is not there to be a host like O'reilly. Late night is not news or talk radio but letterman uses it for his political liberal views because he is arrogant. On a late show you should show more respect for your GUEST.

  • Letterman is a dick who thiks his view is the only view. I used to watch his show and stopped when he took such smar ass remarks and acted like it was not serious oppinion masked in humor. He is a one sided hack who screwed a bunch of women while in a relationship and would not even marry the woman who birthed his child. Typical one sided liberal bigot.

  • @HunterMeatEater - Have you EVER seen the O'Reilly Factor? This guy doesn't let anyone get a word in edgewise if their opinion differs from his own.

  • @randomeddie O'reilly is Lettermans guest this is not news and investigative reporting and letterman is rude and arrogant as usual.

  • @HunterMeatEater - Once again, you clearly have never watched the O'Reilly Factor. I mean, he treats his guests, at least those who don't agree with him, like complete crap, he's condescending, rude, and bullying. One more thing, Bill O'Reilly is to investigative reporting what Taco Bell is to authentic Mexican cuisine...

  • @randomeddie Oh then on that comparison you must love Chris Matthews....Joy Behar who are so polite....give me a break. You are willing to take up the flag on any lib and condem any conservative....how is that listening to both sides. I hear this same crap from libs all the time...intolerant and always making justifications for one side only.

  • @HunterMeatEater - Don't assume to know me based on your 'us against them' political ideology - which by the way, is the EXACT goal of those who terrorize our nation, to pit us against one-another. I've had FOX News AND MSNBC blocked because I don't need a political hand guiding my source for news. I'm a liberal because I can see both sides of a debate before deciding my opinion, which isn't always to the 'left'. Conservative by definition allows for a one-sided opinion. Get a clue, read a book.

  • @randomeddie LOL ok let me get you right...."Dont think you know me" Then tell me who I am and make sarcastic remarks aboutme that would get you a busted lip in my presence. You are typical hater...one set of rules for you but violate them in your speach to others that are different in oppinion. Read book? wow I should not even respond to people as shallow as you.

  • @HunterMeatEater - Ooooh! Talk about internet bravery. 'Bust my lip'? Dream on old man...You're the one who started with the insults and irrelevant points in all of this. Once again, spell check...it's free.

  • @randomeddie Letterman uses hindsight...he is an armchair quarterback...it is the easiest place to sit pointing a finger at others and how they perform after the fact but he could not sit in the hot seat and make any better decisions. Hell he would not keep his dick in his pants and honor his own family let alone marry the woman he had a son with. You defend and scumbag and that makes all this conversation worthless.

  • @HunterMeatEater - so worthless that you had to write an entire paragraph trying to convince me to agree with you? If we're going to get into a 'morality' debate, why not bring up the lawsuit O'Reilly settled out of court for sexually harassing and propositioning his female employees? The difference between these two is that Letterman gets laughs because he's a comedian, O'Reilly for being a hypocritical pinhead.

  • @randomeddie @HunterMeatEater I do not want nor do I need you to agree with me. End of story.

  • @randomeddie I never said that O'Reilly is right if he had made advances to a woman but we do not know what happened do we? We do know that letterman did screw many women on his staff don't wee. You don't have the balls, the character to honestly say anything but good about your favorite people. That is the problem in this country people abandon truth and fight for a side or their dog in the fight, shameful. I do not agree with all of Ann's actions nor O'Reilly's, this is where we differ.

  • @HunterMeatEater - You're a delusional ass. And I didn't bring up the morality issue, you did. Letterman is a funny comedian that I watch and enjoy now and then, period. His personal life, just as O'Reilly's is none of my business. I'm officially bored with you. Respond and insult me if you want, but I'm done with you...

  • @randomeddie LMAO typical punk ass attitude. Internet bravado. planet trash like you is not worth the oaygen you breath kid.

  • @HunterMeatEater - I was going to let this go, but you just make it too damn easy. First off, it's called spell check, look into it. Secondly, I suppose your 'bravery' is just as vigilant in real life as it is in cyberspace, yes? Doubtful. You've made absolutely no point in any of your pseudo-intellectual posts/retorts, done nothing but bring up irrelevant points, and now you want to get into a pissing match? Really? Don't try to get into a battle of wits with me, boy. You will lose...

  • @randomeddie lol too funny it must have taken hours for you to look up words and use spell check huh. hey better make sure mommy and daddy are ok with you being on the net so long. they might want you to get out and get a job. Maybe you need another joint as you approach your umteenth hour on the youtube world trying to be somebody inportant. Hell kid I put my 3 kids through college already and have more success than you have dreamt about. Letterman is still an arrogant dickhead, your hero

  • @HunterMeatEater - So, you're a grown man with kids over college age, and you're questioning the time I spend on You Tube, picking fights with people who don't share your ideals, and you have the audacity to insult me? Once again, you've made no point, resulted to name-calling and assumption making you look like a bigger jack-ass in the process. Letterman isn't my hero, YOU ARE! Why don't you go back to polishing your guns and masturbating to 'Guns & Ammo' you dumb redneck...

  • @randomeddie child child. either you are David Letterman or his lover because my original comments are about Letterman but you feel the need to come to his rescue. You obviously have a hardon for anyone who is not a city girl like you. Just because you cant shoot a gun why insult people who can. Just because you are a milk toast lib why insult everyone who does not praise your hero David Letterman. You show your hand way to easily...someone does not like your hollywood idols and you cry.

  • @HunterMeatEater - You pretty much reiterated my point and I'm done with you. You have nothing to say and are wasting my time trying to say it. Insult if you want, whatever makes you feel better. You started the insults and the redundant and irrelevant points. All I did was point out the hypocrisy in thinking Letterman is a windbag (which he CAN be) while deifying O'Reilly, who is also a blowhard. Read your responses. Whatever, now I'm bored with you because you clearly have nothing to say.

  • @randomeddie Thank you for finally saying Letterman is a wind bag. He was rude and a shitty host. He has become a political commentary and he is a comedian and variety show host. He is to treat his guest with respect. O'Reilly's show is totally different. If you do not know the difference then you cannot begin to discuss this issue. When you start paying taxes or serve in the military then we might listen to your words. Oh maybe you are not even an American?

  • @HunterMeatEater - Whatever, dude. You're an illiterate. Bye.

  • @randomeddie Is this your aim in life to feel like you are educated and people that you do not even know are not? That is the most important thing in your mind. Ideas and what a person applies in this life are important to me so sit at home, type words correctly and impress someone but in the end you have done nothing that last, no real accomplishments, an egg head. No fool like an educated fool. The world is full of book smart people who are failures, so welcome to that club.

  • @HunterMeatEater - It's milquetoast not 'milk toast'...

  • @randomeddie Oh My you get a prize for typing in Word then pasting. A spelling bee is what you are good at but common sense and character you have not. If you did have any real character you would call it like it is on both sides. Instead you suck Lettermans dick and insult people who comment less than positive things about him though nobody made a direct comment to you originally. So you came out of this with some correctly spelled words..you are still weak and bland, milk toast.

  • @randomeddie The character's name, milquetoast, is a deliberate misspelling of the name of a bland and fairly inoffensive food, milk toast. Milk toast, light and easy to digest, is an appropriate food for someone with a weak or "nervous" stomach. Because of the popularity of Webster's character, the term milquetoast came into general usage in American English to mean "weak and ineffectual" Look it up Mr. Educated.

  • @HunterMeatEater - It's 'milquetoast', trust me. And do you realize that we've turned this whole posting into a back and forth of stupidity? What's worse, is that neither one of us can win this because we believe in what we stand for. Personally, I could have done without the insults, but whatever. I'm sorry I called you a redneck. My point in this was to point out the similarities in both show's formats. i don't feel the need to 'prove' myself anymore. I'm seriously embarrassed over this.

  • @randomeddie Look up the history of the word, trust me the original is milk toast, then came milquetoast, it was a play on the original which is still correct even if the milquetoast version took hold because of a cartoon character. you know that we all just want some respect not agreement so I respect your view and strike from the record any personal insult I made. I have enjoyed both Letterman and O'Reilly at times and I have also thought their communication was out of line at times.

  • @HunterMeatEater - By the way, I actually like Bill O'Reilly. He's made me laugh just as often as he's irritated me.

  • @randomeddie I agree. At times I wish I could call and say "Bill how about some respect for that guest" Entertainment factors come into play with both and some shock keeps people talking and posting even lol. We need a lot more respectful communication in this world and the internet is the most void of it. Have a good life, sincerely.

  • How is this Coulters point? coulter is a whore

  • @shandcunt I don't know if she's a whore, but she's certainly no pundit.

  • The US military is also responsible for the deaths of women and children, hypocrisy much?

The US invaded Afghanistan, overthrew the government and claimed the leadership. Some people obviously see the US as the intruder and will fight the invaders. Especially in war there generally is no true good/evil side.

There is something called 'empathy', it helps you see and understand the 'other side's' perspective.

  • @shadowgeyser Going from weakness to weakness then.

  • wow bill was really taken back there

  • David Letterman reminds me of how beautiful freedom of speech is. Fuck the warhawks.

  • Yaaayy, appeals to emotion.

  • Letterman does NOT come off well in this.

  • Sheehan is out of her mind and her son would be ashamed of her.

  • M one six in Britain - did O'Reilly really say M one six and not M I 6 ?!!?

  • Letterman is a clueless naive liberal idiot. Stick to jokes. He's too clueless and naive to be discussing these subjects.

  • Looking back nearly four years later, it's obvious that much more than "60% of what O'Reilly" said on that show was crap. Thanks David for having the sense to call it like it is.

  • Proves he's a cocksucker w/ "you can hardly speak for her". Putrid stinking farts (& their intellectual equivalents) need a grown up to explain that he was speaking about her. It's a typical liberal tactic to slander people. In fact it's the only liberal tactic, except for the use of guns.

If liberals were right about anything you would think they could come up with another tactic but they never do.

  • What is ironic is that they aren't even liberals.

Liberalism classically is basically allowing people to pretty much do what they want within reason, believe what they want, say what they want, spend their money and conduct their business how they want.

So long as it doesnt sink the ship or stink the ship up, fair enough.

These guys on the other hand absolutely HATE liberalism, they hate other peoples opinions so much that they want to basically shut down everyones right to speak.

  • @cidseven They hijacked the term as it "sounds good." We "classical liberals" are now called "Libertarians."

  • @steve0281 Man, libertarians is a cringeworthy word. It is perplexing though how these guys think that their view of forcing everyone into the same economic circumstances and abolishing just about everyones right to success in a unique new way could possibly sound like 'liberty' to them.

Capitalism originated naturally and works because it gives power to the individual, and NOT to the 'the people' (whoever they are)

  • @cidseven "Cringeworthy"? That's a new one on me. What would you prefer. It seems like we are on the same sheet of music so tell me what you think is a better term by which we may promote our position?

  • @steve0281 I wasn't mocking your position, I just think libertarian seems really corny.

I personally advocate the policy of saying to those who try to hijack words of basically grabbing them and saying 'NO' this is NOT yours, this is OURs, this is what this word means and this is the history of this word.

The best way to advance our position is to start directing vicious attacks at the root of their belief system, karl marx.

  • @cidseven So we can defend our terms and attack the root of the opposition's position. I have no problem with that. I would add that we re-append the correct terminology to their ideologies as well. Call them for what they are: Fascists and Communists and defend our positions by citing the source material and not letting them dodge the issue.

  • @steve0281 I agree with that, other than the fascist part, though this is to an extent true based on fascist corporatism, which is hardly liberal.

The reason I make the distinction is that the reason 'fascism' came about in the first place was basically a militant reaction to the threat of communism, so I suppose controlling all industry was a strategic necessity.

I will maintain though, that the best shield against communism is history, science and logic.

  • @cidseven I am in agreement. However, as a philosophy major, I must say that logic is only good when it is based on a priori rooted in reality. Marx was very poor at logic and his a priori were bad to boot. Locke had a sounder foundation, but he was off on a couple of things as well, but his logic was better.

  • @steve0281 I'm not sure if there was a disagreement in there. For the record, I am absolutely anti marxist and I think that his historical view, his view on human behaviour and his economic views along with his ideas in general, to be nothing short of poorly researched garbage, the type that could only be the product of a inept mind.

  • @cidseven I understand that it takes all types to make up a world and that the life of even the lowliest among us means as much to him as mine does to me, but what really bothers me is that these inept people are voting. And then they wonder why there is rioting in the streets.

  • @steve0281 Well, I have a bit of a saying, 'everytime a stupid person says something stupid, another nail is driven into the coffin of democracy'. It is not that I am against democracy, it's just that the average human is a thoughtless, spiteful child with an abuse fetish. They will happily oppose the best argument if the deliverer of such an argument refuses to stroke their collective ego. I think personally they love tyrants because it gives them someone to blame for all of their problems.

  • @cidseven Well, I for one, am against democracy. It is used as a smoke screen to pass all sorts of unsavory legislation. I prefer Liberty and the rule of law. Not an ersatz "freedom" and mob rule.

  • @steve0281 Democracy just is very vulnrable to the sad reality that, the majority of humans, if they don't like someone, will oppose them regardless of whether or not that person actually has the best ideas.

If you ever witnessed a debate or an argument where the crowd clearly doesn't like someone and doesn't agree with them regardless of the fact they don't understand anything about the situation and can't actually debate with them, then you see the problem in these people having a say...

  • @cidseven True. That is why I think that some things, most things actually, should not be subject to a majority rule vote.

  • @steve0281 The closest thing to an effective implementation of majority rule is, the free market. What they buy more off in theory becomes more common. If every purchase is considered a vote for a particular economic trend.

It is ironic and hilarious that, despite the stupid ideas of communists, the free market gives more 'power to the people'(what they mean is the stupid mob to which they belong) than their favoured system.

  • @cidseven I would contend that the most moral form of majority rule is the free market. It is non-coercive. Unlike voting one is not forcing one's choices down the throats of anyone else. You just get the product that you want.

  • @steve0281 It also gives people space. That is really the only realistic remedy to group conflict, take away breathing space and you really do have conflict.

The only people who don't believe this are utopianist silly people who, often seek to kill off anyone who doesn't agree with their utopian views.

  • @steve0281 Continued: Sorry for the rant but...

I feel that classical liberalism really needs to come back in force because, at the very least, in a classical liberal society, people can have the freedom to create a paradise for themselves without relying on someone else to do it for them.

Reminds me a bit of that Benjamin Franklin quote "The Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself."

  • @cidseven I had to look up that quote and I must say that I am disappointed to discover that BF said that the Constitution "gave" rights to people. I will have to disagree with him on that point as it affirms them. Otherwise we are in agreement.

  • @steve0281 Fair enough. I generally agree with the basic concept of what he said there though.

You also appear to be a Ron Paul supporter, which is pretty cool, he is one of the more sensible American politicians.

  • @cidseven I am a RP supported and have been for years. He is the one person in government that represents me and my views.

  • @steve0281 Keep on supporting him then I say, though really, I really do wonder how much democracy will accomplish. It might be better to see him as a way to circulate and advertise classical liberal/austrian school economic ideas and less state interventionalist policy ideas with the aim of creating a classical liberal culture in the US.

  • @cidseven I will continue to support him and whoever thinks like him. I think he and his ilk in government is the last best hope for man kind.

  • @steve0281 Well, that and weaponry.

  • @cidseven Amen.

  • @steve0281 Continued:

You mentioned 'not letting them dodge the issue'. They basically have a discipline which revolves around dodging issues, that is called, post modernism. In a nut shell, the belief that reality is subjective. Because of this position, they can simply reject science, history, logic etc, by saying it is all subjective.

That is one position that really needs to be strung up and humiliated. I have a saying, 'reality is subjective, until you need surgery'.

  • @cidseven I place the blame for much modern thinking on Derrida and his "deconstructionalism." As far as mental masturbation goes, ol' Jacques was the king!

  • @steve0281 Post modernism, cultural marxism and (neo)humanism play a strong role in the current low quality of the intellectual climate, however, while I agree with this I must say that the true problem really, like all times, is that the vast majority of humans aren't very thoughtful and find it hard to integrate new information into a comprehensive world view and then base their actions around this.

  • Not smart enough to debate you. but think 60% of what you say is bull?

He is no Katie Couric but he does understand that he doesn't understand.

  • wtf how dumb is his audience.

  • Letterman resorts to the same techniques as "liberals" on YouTube.

When presented with facts that disprove his argument, he personally insults, talks about how he "feels", then changes the question.

Then, when the troublesome facts come up again, again argumentum ad hominem, my feelings, change the question. Repeat ad nauseum.

  • Letterman always resorts to cheap shots when he doesn't have an intelligent answer. You never saw Carson treat his guests that way.

  • @danolson68 I think it was great how he put O' Reilly in his place. If Bill dish it out 10X as much then he can take it.

  • @danolson68 I wouldnt say there were many 'cheap' shots since he did made fairly valid counter-arguments. The clapping was very annoying though.

Regardless, it's a million times better then how Bill O'Reilly generally treats his guests when he disagrees and cant come up with a decent argument. He tells them to shut up and that they're wrong. That seems very intelligent.

  • @GBXS

I watch The Factor five times a week, every week, and outside of 2 instances where his guests were spewing out complete fabrications, O"Reilly does not tell his guests to shut up. Anyone that watches him would know that, and since you are wrong in this regard, that tells me you do not watch him, but still feel the need to advance your opinion on a topic you are not qualified to discuss. My advice would be to stop echoing the liberal blog rhetoric and make your own determinations.

  • @danolson68 Bwahahaha, are you bullshitting me? You know what, I'll send you a couple of links where Bill O'Reilly disrespects his guests or just throws around with straight lies.

Besides that, I'm not a liberal. And I do make up my own mind.

  • @danolson68 Bill O is far more guitly of that.

  • @danolson68 - Yeah, and O'Reilly is just a saint with the guests on his show who's politics he doesn't agree with. Why do conservatives insist on being such hypocrites?

  • @danolson68 O'Reiley doesn't do much better, he shuts someone down who doesn't follow his beliefs and tries to make them sound like there the worst person in the world, I don't think there is such a thing as a civil debate anymore, Although I do think Sheehan is out of her mind that's for damn sure

  • @danolson68 are you on fucking glue???? What cheap shots....THE TRUTH HURTS DOESN"T IT???

  • @Rizzojerky It is not the truth. Letterman DID use cheap shots and Cindy Sheehan WAS being USED by the liberal anti-American idiots on the left. They exploited her tragedy and then threw her away like a used rag when she was no longer useful.

  • @danolson68......

If Letterman wants to Toss O'reilly a cheap shot.....so be it.

    No one is more deserving.

  • I can support the troops and not support an illegal war. Good god why is there no investigations when the President himself come out and say it was a mistake.

  • @camipray4peace,

I'm not sure how much support it really is when you consider the troops as criminal agents and not intelligent enough to realize it.

I agree about investigations. Not of Bush, but of the sorry state of our intelligence services, which were effectively dismantled by Democrats in the wake of Watergate.

  • Hey Oreally,,fuck you,coming from a true conservative. go eat a potatoe,,

  • There was a time, long ago, that I enjoyed watching Letterman. Now he has outlived his value to television. He is a loathsome individual who uses his access to the media to promote his own agenda. He lacks class and humor and needs some rest.

  • "Sixty percent", eh Dave??

Well, better than a hundred I suppose!

Really, the fact that DL is so popular says volumes about the state of American society.

  • I didn't get what Lettermans strategy was for Iraq/Afghanistan he failed to make that clear, just took the popularity line and got personal with O'reilly. The usual Liberal line then lool.

  • David letterman .......how can that hypocritical douche bag look down his nose at anyone??? The guy ridicules and destroys individuals for indiscretions which he himself has been doing for years. Instead of interviewing people and making us laugh he's a left wing zealot. I hope his show gets yanked

  • and your opinion is based on .... what? yeah people like you need to think about it

  • Well Letterman did have one very insightful point during the conversation and that was that by his own admission, he isn't smart enough to debate O'Reilly on politics. I suppose that would make him a typical liberal. Facts and analytical reasoning just aren't hip it's easier just to call people names who disagree with you and try to make fun of them. That way you don't have to read books or educate yourself on the issues and you can still have strong political opinions!

  • Word mosh. Letterman is an intellectual midget just like most liberals. He just 'has a feeling' that 60% of what O'Reilly said was crap. lol. Priceless. That's how liberals come to conclusions. Just look at healtcare. They want to enact massive sweeping legislation for 47 million people out of which 12-20 million are here illegally. There are 315 million in the country. lol again.

  • @moshchopper1

    Amen, mosh!

  • @moshchopper1 I don't think you have much room to make that statement. You just generalized all liberals as being idiots w/o reason besides just pointing fingers at Letterman and saying he embodies the entirety of the liberal population. That's just like me saying that all Conservatives are like O'Reilly, which would mean loud, homophobic assholes who throw shit fits when people make convincing arguments challenging his views.

  • When the fuck is Letterman ever this combative toward his guests? He could have Iran's Holocaust-denying President on the show and he'd treat him better than O'Reilly. Moral relativism at it's best.

And by the way, his biggest beef with O'Reilly is that he lies or whatever, I'd like to see him produce one, because he didn't here.

  • @NoGuff lol you're a palin fan AND an o'rielly fan. hahaha

i bet you're excited glenn beck is starting his own network.

  • @onlywhenprovoked

I'm happy no matter what way Beck gets the truth out. And by the way, I see you blocked me. I must have hit a nerve with the little bit of truth I posted to your hateful video. You know, you're the biggest fucking coward there is. All you've got are lies, hate, and vile insults. Just like a typical Liberal pussy.

  • @NoGuff I blocked you because you failed, twice. Faceless pussies don't get three chances to lose. That's for paying customers, only.

  • @onlywhenprovoked

Silly Liberal, facts are for Conservatives! Whiney, crybaby Liberal.

  • @NoGuff Only one I seeing crying here, is you.

And the fact is, Palin named her kid after his mental retardation and then lied about it.

    Down Syndrome = Trisomy-G = TriG

  • Most of the insurgents are now resisting an illegal occupation of THEIR HOMELAND!

What part of that isn't a FREEDOM FIGHTER?!

O'Rielly and all of FOX NEWS for that matter, are appologists for the crimes of Cheney and Bush and if there is any justice in this world their time is coming!

  • billl oreilly loofah sponges anyones?

  • "resisting an illegal occupation"

--Please provide an example of a "legal occupation."

"What part of that isn't a FREEDOM FIGHTER?!"

--When you kill innocent civilians to make the occupiers look bad. Hmm...what else? When you fight the occupiers even though they're trying to the get the fuck out of there ASAP & you just delay them to make them look bad. How's that?

"appologists for the crimes of Cheney and Bush"

--And you're an apologist for terrorists like those who beheaded Nick Berg.

  • The insurgents in Iraq are fighting in accordance with and in order to establish Sharia law. Sharia law is tyranny, not FREEDOM. They are jihadist fighters, mujihadeen, not freedom fighters. When Ameica leaves, which it has no intention of, they will not have freedom. The invasion and occupation is illegal according to our Constitution regardless of what any intelligence existed. Remember that and argue from there because it is the truth.

  • I've watched this several times...so my question is to the person who posted and tagged the video: "Letterman Makes Anne Coulters point."

    dennyindc.....

Did you watch your own video??? Did you watch it with the SOUND on???

Could you please clarify it for the rest of us who didn't get that message.?

    Thanks

  • Letterman, good job man. That billy guy needs to get a life.

  • The Jingo ate my 4307 babies!!!

  • Dingo, lol...not jingo

  • a 'Jingoism' is extreme, often blind displays of patriotism, he was making a pun lol

  • history ultimatly decides whos a terrorist and whos a freedom fighter...not orielly..did the english during the revolutionary war consider us terrorists or freedom fighters....bushs iraq war will go done in history as one of the biggest mistakes ever made by an american president

  • Good point. But, ponder the fact that the Muslims in the US would never act the way they do in Europe, because they know we are bullies. This fact protects you. Go to Paris and walk around certain areas; they'll look at you weird for being European! We're assholes, sure. But tolerance, unfortunately, is a bad tactic when dealing with people who take it for a weakness.

  • "history ultimately decides......not (O'Reilly)" And then you go on to decide that "(Bush's Iraq War) will go (down) in history as one of the biggest mistakes..." You just finish telling us that it isn't our place to decide these things, and then you go and make that exact same mistake yourself in the next sentence! Can you say, "Hypocrite!"?

  • i like shit on my face!Yum yum in my anus!shittyshitty bang bang.Someone call the police there is a bird in my tree o my god it fell on a donkeys face.now its doing a shit.

  • Hey, its the Irish Nazi.

  • O'Reilly is so wrong here it's laughable that anybody takes the man seriously. He used the same "how do you think the *other* survivors feel" method of reasoning (replacing his lack of a moral standing on a particular issue with that of others who do have one) before when he idiotically attacked Jeremy Glick, an American hero, on his program back in 2001. He's out of his element here because he can't shut off Letterman's mic - the only way O'Reilly and his ilk can win arguments.

  • Letterman wasn't even answering his questions, he would just say something to make the audience laugh. If he had provided clear answers then I would say oreily is wrong but he didn't.

  • Letterman is a comedian and the host of a show whose job it is to: a) make the audience laugh; and b) to ask (not answer) questions.

That said, O'Reilly is the clear loser here.

  • Thats true but franto is speaking from a more political and ethical point of view. Not based on the fact that he IS a comedian.

  • thsi oreilly faggot needs to egta life...how would he feel if HIS son was killed ina war?your son is goen.dude your never gonna see him agaian..hullo?wahta fag..

  • O'Reilly wins again. If I joined the military voluntarily and got killed, I would want my mom to respect my decision and my service. I wouldn't want her saying I was an idiot for going. Her son wasn't drafted like in Viet Nam.

We may have started the war in error folks, but if we pull out right now, so not one more life is lost, then all those who died, died for nothing.

  • ya i got a lot more respect for letterman after this too

  • GO DAVE!!! GO!

  • "No way that a terrorist who blows up women and children are going to be called "Freedom Fighter" on my program"

Haven't American soldiers blown up women and children? But that's okay because they're doing for our "noble" cause, I guess.

  • It's so true how many iraqi made cluster bombs have killed americans? America is so brainwashed

  • liberal and conservative doesnt mean anti- and pro-war.

real conservatives believe in isolationism. which is as far as possible from what "conservatives" today call their policies.

todays left has far more in common with classic conservatism than these neocon pieces of shit. television liberals and conservatives are the problem. hannity and colmes are both idiots

i know cindy sheehan, she lives less than 10 miles from me. PERSONALLY. i wouldnt say she is "run" by anybody. oreilly is a hypocrite!

  • O'Reilly is the shit! Love him

  • i have a lot of respect for letterman after watching this.

  • No, Cindy Sheehan does not deserve endless sympathy.

She deserves sympathy. President Bush met with her twice.

But the people she says are freedom fighters are monsters. They hate muslims, bomb mosques, bomb assyrian christian churches, behead innocent civilians and shoot children in the back. The Iraqis who are fighting to establish the rule of law and peace and order in their country are the freedom fighters and they are US allies.

  • That's once more than mccain met with Palin..

  • The thing is, Coulter said that she couldn't criticize those women, because no one should have anything but endless sympathy for them, and then turned around and criticized them anyway. Therefore her entire point was moot in the first place. It didn't stop everyone from calling her a monster, sure. But she is one. There's such a thing as human decency. Letterman has it. Coulter and Bill O, not so much.

  • bill oreilly .. dufus.. run by pro war supporters..

  • I think it is fair to say that just because you lost a son in a war, does not give you immunity to criticism for the opinions you state. The lost is sad, but irrelevant to your opinion on the terrorist. On a side note, I agree that Ann Coulter is an idiot who, like Rush Limbaugh, says retarded crap just for attention/book sells.
