what's the difference between a 9236 like yours and a 9238? I'm sure it's something small like differences in the strobe ratings, but I'd like to know if you could help.
march time and code 3 should be a lot more common than continuous in my opinion, because alarms doing continuous sounding leaves ringing noises in some peoples ears

Well Simplex used to have a version of this alarm with a horn that sounds exactly like a TrueAlert.

I have a 9238. It uses a 110cd strobe and the 9236 is the 15cd version. Same horn and everything.

I have a 9236 also. It's really not loud, but definitely attention-getting.

I have a 9238 same thing as the 9236 but 110cd. Its not that loud but it is REALLY high pitched.

Man, i think continuous is highly annoying. I got a 9215 (pretty much a 9219 but 30cd strobe) I will be uploading more videos of it soon.
