It's so weird, I was just thinking, "Psychic, Shcmychic, dikey doo, fakey, frakey fikey, foo" I was going to comment right here with this, and the psychic says, "Georgie Porgy, puddin' pie"!
Argh...this was a GREAT program about the Ripper, up until they brought in a freakin' psychic! What a load of hippie bullcrap :-P
Obviously, while Chapman is a major suspect (i.e. only suspect who was proven to be capable of murder), there are suspicions against him (e.g. he poisoned his wives, he did not stab them)....but PLEASE, don't bring in a bloody "psychic" to tell us that he doesn't "feel" that Chapman wasn't the Ripper.
Is it just me or does anyone else strongly believe that Jack the Ripper is not a known suspect... Like he was just some random guy living in whitechapel
REEVES has too many buttons on his plush jacket...he needs maids to help him out in the morning...(was BobMortamer's job before 'e sacked him) PIGS turned psychic are normally psychos...ahaha what a joke...LONDON grimmasfuck then and now hasn't changed just the BRITISH pound worthless soon to be replaced by the drakkmar

this is just a show, dont believe it, i still believe it might be a british conspiracy, that police still kept the secret. Or they stop the case for being the weirdest case ever told, it's a good way for tourism... n cmon, that guy must be dead by know dont over reacted.
He says it would be impossible for someone to walk through the streets covered in blood when everyone was going to work. This isn't true as the area was full of slaughterhouses and butchers, the police at the time noted that a man in an apron covered in blood would not in itself have seemed suspicious to passers by unless he was obviously agitated or running. At least one person who had claimed to see the ripper described him as wearing a butchers apron.
I can't believe that Jack would have the social skills needed to regularly play a team sport. It just doesn't fit. I would picture him as a loner, or being self centred (like Tumblety sounds) who knows.
They seemed to make a decent case against Tumblety. Although, in my opinion, they left out the single most revealing clue as to who might be Jack the Ripper. On the night of September 10, 1988, at the sight of Kate Eddowes murder, a blood trail led to a nearby doorway. On the doorway, the phrase "THE JEWES ARE NOT THE MEN TO BE BLAMED FOR NOTHING." was scrawled in chalk. This suggests to me that the killer was either a Jew or an anti-Semite. I'm pretty disappointed that they overlooked that..
I think he lead the psychic a bit too much. To use that and accept it as credible they should have used someone who doesn't know the area at all and no suggestions ie he killed three wives etc.
@Ang3lfir309 Agreed, but totally impossible. Just about EVERY psychic in this country knows Jack the Ripper in and out, the locations associated, the background of each possible suspect. Its just too well known, so even if you didnt say a WORD while he was in there and making his decisions, you STILL couldnt take it as being a definitive proof, one way or another.
I think that the problem with psychics
is that, if you get another psychic to do the
same thing, he´ll pick some other suspect
as Jack the Ripper, because he "feels" it.

James Kelly was Jack the Ripper. It's obvious once you closely study the case.

True, but all the way to Blackheath?
It seems reasonable to suspect that at least one person who knew him as a teacher would have seen him going home.
Good catch though, I missed that point on first watching the show.

Agree with the two above. This isn't as loony as I thought it was going to be.
