  • Is the California Bar Exam still considered the toughest in the U.S.?

  • Why does the definition of burglary include "night time?" That is really stupid b/c burglary can be taken place during the day. By definition is it just B&E and not burglary b/c it's not at night, even if property is removed?

  • Dear "TheyFeedingULies",

The common law definition of burglary is "the breaking and entering of the dwelling place of another, during the night time, with the intent to commit a felony therein".

However, modernly the definition of a burglary does not require a "dwelling of another" - a burglary can occur in any structure (four walls and a ceiling). In addition, under modern law, a burglary can occur at anytime of the day.

  • if you are studying for the bar exam, and you really have a down pat approach to the essays, it IS fun. I have taken two bar exams and passed both on the first try. The first time was in 1994 and the second in 2008. Both times I did have fun. It was fun to write the essays because I was ready for every exam topic. Granted - studying intensely for two months the first time was not "fun" but having the right approach and knowing what to write on the real exam, is fun. Please see continued comment.

  • At the end, she's like ..."it's fun actually" ... LOL!!
