Also, just like to point out the original dirty martini evolved from the Gibson martini and used cocktail onion juice. Not a good one to have on a date ;)

It's a basic take on the dirty martini. I definitely rather not have a stirred martini, the taste is not as smooth, and you dont get these cool little bits of ice in your drink.

LoL, olives with cheese? How about we stick with Peppers. But I can see how it MAY work with onions.

1. Chill your Martini glass with ice and water

2. Add ice to the glass portion of your shaker

3. Add 10 ml of Vermouth (Martini Dry). Stir (or shake if asked for).

4. Pour out the Vermouth! (You only want what is left coated on the ice). However for a wet martini it can be left in.

5. Add 50 ml of Gin. (Tanquery is my preferred). Vodka can be used for a vodka martini. Stir.
