I agree that many protesters are just repeating what they hear from organizations like PETA. A lot of them don't even have the proper information. They say they don't want to offend this 'tradition' but they really just want to keep their money. The commercial seal hunt should be banned. Also, white coats aren't allowed to be killed, the way they kill the seals has also been proved humane and people are being misinformed. It's still ridiculous to kill these animals for fashion though. So stupid.

I suspect that this person ,in the video, has never been to the ice, has no understanding of East Coast history or culture, and mostlikley has a limited understanding of basic ecological concepts and the premise behind sustainable development and sound resource mangement. I have no problem with groups protesting an issue, but I have a problem with an organization who is using an issue to fulful their own adgenda, using young people, who have now real understanding to the issue and attacking and threating a group of people or a culture. The problem with many of these groups, yours included, is that they are "selective" in tackling issues that have the potential to raise the most money.
