Anyone else love the fact that a lot of melvins songs start out with just the epic drums??? And especially a song like "Cow" it's just drums for like 3 minutes :D
Saw em at Bonnaroo last summer and it was one of the most epic shows I've ever seen. They totally RULE even harder with the dudes from Big Business, and I honestly didn't think it was possible for the Melvins to rule any harder.
@That1ManDudeGuy When you listen closely to the guitar, you can detect hints of classical-jazz-mathmatical-hipster-fusion rock. One of my personal favourate genres ;)
ya this mix of big business and the melvins is the shit....this is some of the best music ive ever heard...this album here....that lineup is sooo good
jareds vocals and king buzzos...they are perfect together...i hope they stay together for awhile. if you like that singer..check out Karp, The Whip ( not the british the whip ), Big Business
One of my favourite 90s bands (with Tool, Meshuggah, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Oasis, Anthrax and Sepultura). I know, some go back to the 80s, but meh. This is great. Odd, I get off on speeding up Slayer to over 450bpm, yet I find myself addicted to this really slow, sludgy, sexy beat! Oh man... Thanks to a Mr. Grohl for directing me to good music and away from Maroon 5 (no kidding, I used to like them). I've discovered so much good heavy shit like this thanks to him.
i used to like maroon 5 as well. but it all depends on a persons music taste. just listening to this doesnt make us have better music taste than those who listen to britney spears etc etc.
Iv just listened to this song 5 times in a row and cant stop listening.. why the fek didnt i go see the M elvins when they were in Dublin!!! a lesson learned!!!!
thats fucking awesome. i just saw CLUTCH on September 29th. best show i've ever been to. they came with The Sword, Graveyard, & Never Got Caught. they were all awesome. but CLUTCH kicked fucking ASS!!!! damn man, smoke one for @ the Melvins concert. wish i could be there to see em. hopefully i will get to see them before i die.

They're obviously New Wave, with hints of neo-reggae fusion.

come on now.....that's just-- not even rock
atlasperros 2 years ago 19
Did either I or "yutubecop" say Maroon 5 were rock? No. Certainly, I would now just describe them as shite. Grunge and PROPER metal all the way!
