hes 100% right. I used to be such a terrible singer. Like on a scale of one to ten, probably a 1.5. But now by throwing away my ego and not caring how ppl view me i will sit there and sing . My voice is developing. My friends have noticed, and on a few occasions i have even had others over hear me and tell me that i have a good voice. Now i'd say its 6 , its not much but it is developing and i am practicing.

Alfredo Kraus, one of the best singers of the 20th century, personally stated multiple times that what he knew how to do (ie sing really incredibly) was a LEARNED thing, and anyone who put their mind to it could also learn how to do it. The truth is probably a little more complex, but this guy's absolutely right- anyone can improve just by practicing and learning!

simply he is saying that anyone can learn to sing. its a skill that has to be learned, its not just a gift some people have. its all practice. singers who were never taught still spent time practising the skill, probably as kids mimicing the singers around them. it takes the same kinda effort as learning any instrument except its much easier in terms of convenience for pratice, so it shouldnt take half as long to learn how to use it well. im learning am rubbish but beginning to find it .

I agree with NKPG90210: if you are too impatient to listen to the introduction, then you probably won't have the patience to learn anything from the actual singing lessons. You can't just leap into something; you need to understand what you're leaping in TO. And the theory has always walked hand-in hand with practice, so what was good enough for ALL of our ancestors (at least the ones who lived becuase they weren't impatiently leaping into things) is good enough for me.

youir voice is flipping into your falsetto/head voice. Dont put so much weight on the bottom part of your voice and you will gradually learn to mix them together....Just don't push force or strain.

It's definetly a good ''ground-base'' to have skills for singing good, some people have more skill and is better, some not, it's very induvidual.

But even if you don't have super-talent for singing you can sing(though maybe not as good), but in most cases, most people can train their voices and become better, how good is also very induvidual from person to person. I have a little voice for singing, though not enought to become Idol of the year that's for sure haha :D
