Both Oregon Senators Wyden & Merkley voted in favor of the 2012 Defense Authorization Act, as-is without the Udall Amendment. They support indefinite detention of US citizens without due process - a violation of our Constitutional rights.

But if they are detained by legal means or they are detained while not engaged in operations against our military a trial is warranted for American Citizens IMO. Don't mind the miss-sync of the audio to the video, just listen to and hear one of the few true patriots, and I would even dare say true "Americans" left in our government, speaking about what the "enemies within" are trying to do to what's left of our great country. Scary and truly alarming really. Time to wake up and get educated people. I understand what he's saying but we do have domestic terrorist in this country named GANGSTAS AND THUGS who terrorize our communities on a daily basis know right from wrong, and I've always felt that once those type of people threaten, harm or kill someone they should be charged as domestic terrorist and given life on the first violent offense.
But to consider everybody a terrorist is just insane.

Let go of "primitive" religion / we need a code of ethics? In my religion, God gives you the free will to reject him but his church will endure forever (Matthew 16:18). Guys like Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Castro, etc. did their best to rid us of religion by creating a totalitarian state. No thanks. If we could just have our elected/appointed officials to follow 2 of the 10 commandments (though shall not kill / steal) we would restore a good portion of the moral bankruptcy that exists.

If an American is behaving as an enemy commander and/or is engaged on the battlefield by our military that is fine. But if they are detained by legal means or they are detained while not engaged in operations against our military a trial is warranted for American Citizens IMO. The founders never intended habeas corpus to include enemy POW's however.
