unlike all the other people here, I think the song isn't that good, the "spice" is missing, that makes the song very predictable. for my opinion, it's certainly not a masterpiece, it's ok though.
Everybody who has said that there is something about Yiruma's music is 100% right. I've recently got out of a serious relationship with a girl who I loved so much and I still do love her but sadly the feeling isn't mutual anymore.
Long story short, I've been holding back a load of emotion and no piece of music has been able to make me crack... until I heard this piece. A 22y/o male brought to floods of tears by a simple melody from a piano and a cello. Thanks Yiruma - i really needed this.
Time will not forget my beautiful Grandmother- neither will my grandpa who loved her so very much.
And I will certainly never forget my Kitty, my best friend for fifteen years who i miss every day. When I come home and there is no cat to feed or litter to do or Grandmother to kiss, I listen to this. This brings me memories.
There is just something about Yiruma's music. I have severe anxiety, and listening to his melodies really brings me peace that soothes me in that moment. Thanks Yiruma.

It is hard to accept that some things in your life are really over and in the past...and you have to accept that or else it will tear at your heart for years...in my case it was a girl i loved dearly...and hurt deeply. She is the one who introduced me to Yiruma, Ironic if you ask me.

@GenieWillow and I also just figured. people who can't listen to this also probably haven't gone through any real pain such as having to lose someone you love.and then feeling that you would give anything just to see them again. when you're right there feeling that way .. that's when it almost feels like it hurts more than anything you've ever felt in the world..... that's the true pain in this world.
how i imagine the song: from 0:00 to 0:19, the song is in the present time, perhaps a person is sitting on a bench waiting for a bus or doing a morning walk at the park before starting the day. then at 0:20, the person has a flashback of something, maybe she saw something that remind her of her past boyfriend, or maybe she saw kids running around and that reminded her of a childhood friend and the times they had before growing up. then at 4:23, she snaps out of it to present time again
@dashfront21 actually that is quiet interesting.The main chorus of the song sounds like when this person's mind is wandering in the past. still thinking of how much time has passed since that memory and how much things have changed. and to me it sounds like the person has some regrets of the past, things that they would have done differently . it also does sounds like this person really misses those happy moments really badly (most likely with someone or with people like close friends).
@Zenthos01 yeah, yiruma did a really good job with this. it sounds like an innocent memory of what shouldve happened, or what the person shouldve done. someone needs to make a short movie featuring this song or something, ha. done right, it could turn out really good.

Such a wonderful pianist Yiuma is... I've loved every piece he has ever done! He bases his pieces on reality, not fantasies, things that happen every day. He has inspired so many people in the world to go ahead and do what they can! But "Why do people dislike him on YouTube?" is my question, when people know that his work is beautiful. Yiruma's work will never die in our hearts, and forever will his music live!

This is so beautiful. I was listening to this song on my playlist without having known what the name of the song was. When I looked it up and saw the title, I thot about how perfectly that title goes with, and describes the song.
While I was listening to it, it made me think "It's okay. whatever im going through it's okay because time forgets and it's all in the past" How Ironic that "time forgets" is the name of the song. The music truly does speak to you. more than lyrics.

3:35-3:51 just about encapsulates the immense throes I've endured the last month. My God, I've never heard something so anonymously beautiful... Yiruma can illustrate a collage of emotions without even saying a word.
When I hear this song I think of a chilly fall day... with a woman walking on a path with the leaves of trees being blown through the air.. as she thinks she sees an old husband that has passed away... and then she realizes that she isn't a young woman anymore and then turns into an older woman... this is kinda weirding me out..

Such a wonderful pianist Yiuma is... I've loved every piece he has ever done! He bases his pieces on reality, not fantasies, things that happen every day. He has inspired so many people in the world to go ahead and do what they can! But "Why do people dislike him on YouTube?" is my question, when people know that his work is beautiful. Yiruma's work will never die in our hearts, and forever will his music live!

Haha, Time Forgets. What a beautiful name. I'm glad time forgets, so every now and then I can just put all that stuff behind me because they're things of the past. This song reminds me that you don't just have to keep all these things locked away, because time forgets and it will all get better. No matter what happens, time will forget. Time Forgets. there is always some kind of music where when you listen to it, you will think about something... this song remind me of a girl... a girl that i will do everything for, and for 3 days ago... i saved her life, and got hit by the car my self... i dident get hurt so much, but she would... she would die accturly... and this song reminds me so much about it... i love you so much Yiruma!<3

No matter the distance,no matter the length of time,your friends...are your friends. Your loved ones,are your loved ones. It's so incredible how he can compose SO many wonderful and touching songs that have changed many people's lives :) No matter how much I try to learn , I doubt I can ever learn all his pieces . Yiruma <3

This is so beautiful. I was listening to this song on my playlist without having known what the name of the song was. When I looked it up and saw the title, I thot about how perfectly that title goes with, and describes the song.
While I was listening to it, it made me think "It's okay. whatever im going through it's okay because time forgets and it's all in the past" How Ironic that "time forgets" is the name of the song. The music truly does speak to you. more than lyrics.

It is an expression of how I feel and I really do love the song because it inspires and speaks to me. When I hear this song I think of a chilly fall day... with a woman walking on a path with the leaves of trees being blown through the air.. as she thinks she sees an old husband that has passed away... and then she realizes that she isn't a young woman anymore and then turns into an older woman... this is kinda weirding me out..
