HerBunk: David has a dicey job. Walking the fine line between being human and a late night comedian/talk-host. David does not do well with bullshit. So he says what's on his mind more than a "Leno" might, trying desperately to tell the funny truth, but not insult. Letterman comes from the "Rickles" school of humour. Ask most anyone who is most erudite, honest and truly entertaining guy around, Letterman's comes up.

Dave had sexual encounters with adult women, very consensual I assure you.

David is unique unto himself. His one-downsmanship, self-deprecating nature allows him to function and thrive in an environment many cannot survive in. He's brilliant, but tells us "I'm just this stupid old guy", making him yet more loveable. You don't forgive, or unload on Dave, you WATCH his show and learn from one of the smartest people in the entertainment biz.. His often brut humour is stunning.

Letterman is an angel compared to Leno's condescending, arrogant, relentless criticisms of Americans as being ugly, fat and stupid. I'm amazed that any Americans continue to watch the pompus, small-minded toad after seeing one of his Jay Walking tirades.

Letterman has the highest ratings in late night - beyond he said none of the things mentioned. His indiscretion with female staff? He's in the entertainment field..I've seen worse.

This video refers to Letterman's previous offense during June of this year when he made sexist and derogatory comments about Sara Palin's daughter(s). Letterman apologized enough that he was able to keep his job. More recently Letterman had sex with one or more of his EMPLOYEES which is considered TACKY in a civilized society, Thanks for your interest.
