Very nice minimalist aquascape! That's what the future of this hobby is - simple and beautiful, just beautiful. Nice! This aquascape is very short lived in the form we see it in this video. But Nature itself is that way too. Very nice!
That would be a CO2 meter. Just a chemical mixture that determines the level of dissolved CO2 in the water. The plants you can see are heavily CO2 dependant
@tnd512 Called (Hemianthus callitrichoides) or Baby dwarf tears, yes 3-4 bps C02 min on a tank like that probably 5. two watts goes out the window too for light, as they need ratios of around 4w:1g @ 8k for light. and hardness as well 4-5 helps
@GladiatorShield it actually looks alright, at least from what i can see. Fish look healthy and relaxed, good colors. Tank looks decently big, maybe 6-10 gallons...I suck at estimating though
What are the glass structures to the right, and where can they be purchased? Everything I have (filter, etc) is bulky and black, and I'd rather have something more appealing. Also, can anyone suggest a fertilizer or nutrients for the plants. Just starting out and so much to learn.
Great tank! It's truly an inspiration! I'm just starting out with planted tanks after owning plastic ones for years, and looking at tanks like this one make it worth the extra money! What are the plant species you have in this tank? How often did it need trimming?
This isn't Mark Evans in Kumamoto Japan, is it?
