K points out that to have faith in an idea, a dogma, a belief or a concept brings about a state of neurotic security. When one sees the truth of the statement one finds that the majority of human beings divided in various religious groups are essentially neurotic. That's how there is so much conflict and endless wars. 9/11 or 26/11 terrorists and similar others have firm beliefs that immediately after this act they will enter in jannat. Obviously that is neurotic thinking.
Interesting how the video and/or speach was ended at "The word discipline means to learn, learn what is, not about what should be". Perhaps much meaning in these final words.
Thank you so much for providing these video's. K is a very important teacher to me. Way ahead of his time. I wish that more people were familiar with his teachings.
Tremendously important. Like a light to see in the darkness.
If you are interested in K's work, please also look without prejudices at the sincere work of Ruben Feldman González, who knew K and David Bohm, and is talking since 1978 about what he calls "Unitary Perception" (and which Krishnamurti called meditation, choiceless awareness etc.) all over the world. There is an interview in English to be found here:
