Yes you can flash this just like an evo, that is why I did it. I was doing eprom dsm chips but that became a hassle. I have an evo 9 as well and really liked the software and how easy it was to flash and how well supported the roms were. So I figured this would work and luckily it did. I put up some pencil schematics on the dsm forums. Its quite simple, just connect the pins on the dsm that do the same thin on the evo.
