insightlful - I serve as the chairperson for The Campio Burns Group based in Cape Town South Africa. Our burn survivors little to no trauma counseling due to lack of funding. We currently care for William a 37 year old male adult whose home was petrol bombed during the unrest in Cape town in 1976, he was only 3yrs old then - he is 37yrs old now and has lived most of his iife in abstract hopelessness. He was referred to us in the hope that we could help alleviate his sense of defeat.

I've been reading that Liam Neeson contacted this organization to research for his role in Sam Raimi's Darkman when I discovered Phoenix Society.

Sadly I have not been to a Burn Congress since 2000, but I still run a support site as well.
