I've created instrumentals using samples so many times that I've lost count. Sampling to create new forms of music I've found is sometimes even more difficult than writing music with "original" riffs/chords/notes/etc.

I definitely agree, I sample heavily in my music...just about every song with the exception of a few beats Ive done myself, finding those perfect loops, getting a clean sample..it's a LOT harder than just composing your own shit sometimes.

If sampling was unoriginal and uncreative, then the majority of professional and indie artists today wouldnt use MPCs.
