  • the circuit looks a different layout than it was in the 80's, looks like they are going down the old hanger straight and then left into the loop where the pits are now.

  • Some of the best vids on you tube by this poster, if you are interested in the 1960s motorsport scene. Thanks.

  • I remember watching this at Croft in freezing weather. Arnold Butcher in his mud coloured 7 and suit were always entertaining, as was watching Harry Ratcliffe stuffing his capri into the banking after the "yump"

  • Remember seeing Europa race there in 1968, good to see the footage.

  • Great footage. I was probably there (and likely have still got the programme) as I lived very close and tried never to miss a meeting - always **!*dy cold though ! Great cars - even a morris 1300 if I'm not mistaken.

  • Awesome footage! Thanks a ton for sharing! Minis, Hillman, Capri......EUROPA! :D

  • Fantastic old stuff, oldest rallycross footage I ve viewed by along way.

  • Thanks for the comment: if there is enought interest, I will redo this footage, which reached here by a VERY lossy route.

  • More footage please!! I hope that the BBC and ITV give access to all the old Rallycross recordings one day soon. Real cars with trick bits. 4 wheel drive Capri's and Mini Clubmans. Great to see a Renault 8 Gordini too. There was a Europa with a hairy covered paint job, anyone remember that?
