Ok this wasn't created in 1996 more like 2006. The explosion effect is from a very popular particle generation program called ParticleIllusion and it wasn't around in 1996.

ummm this was made in 96 so yea it is good for that time frame since not many people could get ahold of any good graphics software, for there windows 95 computers or windows 3.1 so yea not bad then
