  • I like this store because all the other stores in the parks are all for kids and only sell costumes or things like kids clothing with princesses on them and stuff but D-Street sell Disney themed clothes like baseball hats that have cool designs on them.

  • That 'Nightmares' baseball top better be there in April 2011!!! And the trilby hat. AND the blue cap!!! <3

  • Vinylmation is the biggest rip-off in history. They're like $13 baseball cards; you don't know which one you'll get

  • @TheOfficialBlarg i know right :\

  • This is so cool! I was just there about a year ago, so it wasn't there, but I'm going again in 2012, so I can't WAIT to check it out!

  • anyways to break all this talk about profit and stuff lol The store looks cool thats about it XD too much talk about money ruins Disney

  • ANOTHER clothing store? I'll admit to having a few Disney shirts, but you can put Mickey on only so many shirts before everyone gets bored and won't buy them anymore. But the Vinylmation station looks kind of cool; why not make a store where people can paint their own Disney characters (princesses, heroes, the Vinylmations, etc) or other clayware (dishes, cups, bowls, etc), either at home or right in the store?

  • Walt's not just turning over in his grave, he's spinning

  • @dewfreakii

    why? it's a STORE.

  • @freshPrincess626 Because Walt's vision wasn't about the profit, it was about the inspiration and the joyment of others.

  • @Khorage

and some new store in Downtown Disney somehow demeans that? you do know it costs money to get into the parks, right? and those parks are all filled with stores, shops, and carts that sell people stuff. because, um, it costs money to keep all that inspiration and "joyment" running.

  • @freshPrincess626 True, but it's all about the quality. Like the difference between buying a Mouse Ears hat and buying a baseball cap with some modern-artsy form of Mickey thrown on the brim. The Mouse Ears hats are based on the hats of the Mouseketeers/Mickey Mouse Club, which was a TV show created by Walt back around the time Disneyland was under construction. But the baseball hat just says "we threw Mickey on here to get a few extra bucks in retail".

  • @ztslovebird

WHAT? that's ridiculous. it's Disney. they put Mickey, in all his incarnations and forms, on EVERYTHING. if that's your logic, are you upset at Disney for making waffles and pizza in the shape of his head and then charging almost twice what waffles or pizza would cost at the grocery store?

  • @freshPrincess626 The waffles and pizzas are different. You can only get those in one of the Disney Parks, and had some genuine time/consideration put into their individual creation and distribution. But everyone and their mother sells baseball hats nowadays without the care or attention to detail that other products get.

  • steam punk mickey lol

  • i see D-street is pleasure island's successor

  • @waltdisney19282008 Pleasure Island is gone? I thought it was a big adult-only part of Downtown Disney . . .

  • @ztslovebird maybe parents wanted the parks and downtown disney to be completely family friendly

  • @waltdisney19282008 Yeah, but kids weren't allowed there, anyway. And what about the adults who visit Disney kid-free and want to have some "grown-up" fun? Maybe not so many bars, but a dance club would be nice.

  • @ztslovebird downtown disney used to be all clubs and a completely adult area but they recently closed the clubs so now its for everyone.

  • what are those mickey shaped people that look like fudebars or whatever? they kinda creep me out

  • @milkdudsthenews They're Vinlylmation figures. I collect them.

  • Woo. There better be an abundance of goofy merch as well. It's so hard to find origanal goofy stuff in disney stores. =P

  • I LOVE IT

  • Really? I thought it was a great idea at first when they first introduced the figures but this is just too much for me.

  • man freaking love all the vinylmation collections at the disney resorts <3

  • That looks great

  • Sweet! It's like Disney's version of Hot Topic!

  • WOOOO! Adult apparel!

  • FAIL

  • i want that jonas signed one :]

  • So it's like a Tren-D for guys?

  • @XashspoonX i know finally!!!!!!!

  • Looks pretty cool, cant wait to check this store out next week when i go back to Disneyland!

  • @jonleadbetter Nevermind, this is florida =(

  • woohoo going in september cant wait!!!

  • is this where the old magnet store used to be?

  • @britkillah The magnet store was still there when I went. I think this is where the Planet Hollywood gift shop used to be.

  • Cool!!!! =D

  • i havent gone 2 disney for 7 years im so sad plus thats the last place me my mom and daddy went before he died

  • And thats how its done! Nice video!!!

  • I'll have to remember this the next time my family goes to WDW. I could spend all day in the store!

  • Super cute stuff!

  • disney you should make one in CA. that would be alot of fun and alot of people would buy. I know i would

  • @hinatasorrows Actually, There's already one in Downtown Disney in California, it's right next to the fossil store. ;)

  • the design-your-own that looks like it has signatures on the ears would be so much better to get signed than just a regular address book.

  • @prettyinpunk666 i was thinking the same thing! such a great idea, you can display it rather than finding it years later

  • So other than the Vinylmations I guess this new store mainly sells the Disney Couture clothing line? It wasn't a very informative video. :P

  • WOW!

I want to buy SO MANY things in this video xD

the clothes look so gosh darn snazzy!

and the vinylmations look great fun to collect and create!

I must get to Orlando soon!!

Does this place, or these stores, have a website where you can purchase these amazing products? =D

  • This video felt like Mickey's turn on MTV Cribs
