When I get the PS3, will i have to get every firmware update that has been released inorder to get all the additional features/abilities that each of the firmware updates bring?
There is nothing new...:(...it was to fix some bugs and security things...it is possible that the thursday update for the Playstation Store to have Home...But its not yet confirmed...we just have to sit and wait..:)
well only thing i read up on is the update is more likely security update but 2.20 will be here shortly no given date yet but 2.20 could be the xmb home where u play music and games online and offline

every time i go to do the 2.17 update an error always occurs at about 1 or 2 % any help ?

The only thing i think it might be is that maybe u dont have enough memory to download the patch? Sorry if that doesn't work.

try making space and if that das not work get it from the sony website on the computer and then transfer it to your ps3
