the power numbers at the top for the red scrolls is for how many times you can use the special fighting skills learned by the judo but the judo teacher charges at least $400 or $800 for the lesson...in other words you ride the cat or fly in the 2D levels

I wish Goemon (Kid Ying) had his games sent here after the N64. so Ebisumaru was called a Docter? yes, thats why cats are awesome! cause they make your weopen stronger. Goemon was there 99th customer so Kid Ying got the 100Th customer Gift!

I've heard it was a matter of translation. It wasn't until the N64 game that the translation was corrected.

Omgzzzz I suggested this about 2 months ago but it was the Starring Goemon one for the N64, i've never played this version so it will be fun to watch. The N64 version is one of my favorite games for the system, up there with SM64 for platformers IMO.

Also, because I forget to add this when watching... When you collect the scrolls, I believe as you get more power, it allows you to perform the Jutsu techniques you can get later in the game! I think that's the trick, anyway >.> I didn't even know until thinking about it now...
