stand next to the door, the door creates itself a hole block of space but the item is only about 1 3rd of a block so lava cant flow through but you can stand in the space the actual item isn't taking up and survive!

Well, obviosly being a terrorist is wrong,, but, people who watch and hate this will never watch it again, and people who like it will find becuase it became popular, so it wastes 1 min of someones life, and makes someone enjoy maybe 10 mins more of their life, and look at the percentage of the likes-dislikes. Roughly 60% dislikes, but there is still more time enjoyed then hated.

That is not that hard to do.... u just need to use a delay on the redstone lines, like a repeter (or 30?!?) Then it takes about 6 sec before the lava enters the room..... Its a simple delay on the door lever..... =P

Look I used to hate people saying that as well but then I started thinking about it. Why should I not use the tools given to us by YouTube? You can talk about how childish it is and how it's a bad way to gain popularity but you can't say that it's not working. This video got more likes than any of my other videos. And likes spreds the video to people who like what we do, even if 1000 people hated this video there is always one who liked it and to me that's a win.

If you would've said something like, "Hey, we're going to release the tutorial for this in about a week, remember to like the vid and subscribe for channel updates!" then I'm sure more people would've liked it, and less would've disliked. You likely would've gotten more subs that way too. Stating you will release the tutorial only after X amount of views/subs/likes puts a bad taste in people's mouths. It's bad "marketing".
