I believe it was from when Hellsing first attacked Millennium in 1944. Alucard was in the form of a young girl. Though I'm not sure whether he inhabited the body of a previously existing girl or whether he somehow created the form.

Girlycard is the little girl form Alucard took in WWII with young Walter (who was 14 at the time). Why Alucard took the form? I have no idea (my opinion: to tease Walter, ya know those teenage hormones XP). Girlycard appears in "The Dawn" manga, which is a prequel to Hellsing and "she" later on appears in Hellsing manga Vol. 9 and 10. If you are refering to the Hellsing OVA series, then yes "she" will appear later on as this series clearly follows the manga. (;
