  • He seems like a really sorted chap... unfettered by the egotism and hubris of the music biz. His music does the taliking. And that's how it should be..

  • Nile is the boss!

  • he sounds like a whole band

  • GUITAR PLAYERS! At 2:20 this damn thing is A LESSON! How can something so full and lush sounding look so deceptively simple? It only LOOKS SIMPLE. Nile's basically playing piano AND drums on guitar.

  • "Sorry I ruined your black panther party..." I had to say it. Forest Gump baby!

  • Yea Nile's and Bernard!!!!

  • Nile Rodgers provided something that is sorely missing today...

  • you can still hear his music in todays music, will smith.

  • From the queen of pop herself here:

"Madonna MTV Interview 1984 - Insight" at /watch?v=oaaBk_LK0qY

  • Nile mentions he and Nard being a bit intimidated to work with the Rolling Stones but he eventually worked with Jagger anyway. I think they would have done great work with Midler. I hope there's some interview where he explains why Chic's work with Johnny Mathis was never released....
