English dub sucks, because of the relatively low production values. The voicing in american animated series sounds so much more fitting for a reason.

They dub anime, because there still too many people who feel too pompous for subs or are not commited to getting used to the japanese way of talking, which is kinda weird, since they seem to love anime so much...

Seriously, so many cultural subtleties are lost with the dubbing.

And yeah, that is illegal in some countries even for 16 year olds (for example in the us and japan), where you aren't allowed to drink beer until youre older. I've just been disappointed by dubs too much so far (most of the time a few voice actors, and sometimes a lot of them, feel really too forced and fake) so that's why I don't even bother with them anymore. Must say that I'm pretty familiar with dubs like Dragonball Z and Gundam Wing, tho, because that's how they were broadcasted back then.

I watch English Dubs all the time and like them. I liked the lucky star dub and I though the dub for School Rumble was batter then the original, but this I can't stand this it's just a bad dub. half of the time it just sounds like they are just raising there voice a Little and reading the lines not giving there voices any personalty. the voice actresses in Japanese do a great job and they even sing the OP and ED . It just makes me sick how bad this dub is and I am disappointed.
