Mercedes pushed his career as a young driver, you could say he was their trainee, without them he would still work as car mechanic or drive cart lol.

There is no reason for Luca Montezemolo to be hurt just because MS wants to give Mercedes something in return. Its a matter of honor. Ferrari and MS have achieved great things in F1 and developed great sports cars together and he is a well respected man in Italy.

Its his desire to race again, he was injured ..and couldnt make a comeback with ferrari ..but the real truth is driving for mercedes, the company that first gave him the chance to breakthrough into racing..and also teaming up with his old pal Ross Brawn. He is clever, he knows Ross is the best engineer there is, he has a great chance to be champion working with him ..also at his age, if he wins, will be an even bigger accomplishment.

They had no idea he will go the mercedes though lol they wanted Schumi to be some toy they have , wind him up..and release him at all these promotional Ferrari shows, then put him back in the cupboard when its all done. Not exciting for Schumi, he wants to race so he made a move, now Luca (ferrari boss) doesnt like it, calling him a two face bla bla. He put ferrari back to the top. They should be grateful.
