  • I love this song, and long live Clarence...but the tin whistle has got to go...

  • They played Glastonbury the night before. Amazing band, I wish I could have been there. RIP Clarence.

  • @nuddywizz He was so upset when Ticketmaster raised ticket prices to his shows. He knows he has no control over it, so he always does the best he can so everyone knows they're not just paying for some song and dance showman to dazzle them for a couple hours. He still does like 4 hour shows. That shit's intense, man.

  • R.I.P. Clarence.. there will never be another man bigger then The Big Man himself in the E Street Band or in music period.

  • R.I.P Big Man !! Miss you always !

  • what a hero

  • 4:53-5:04 just made me a little sad

  • Amazing, except that the Big Man was limited by his football injury, not that it kept him from performing, mind you.

  • RIP Clarence. Absoloute legend. He attempt at tin whistle is amazing ;D Love that guy!!!

All the superlatives are yours, Bruce.

  • I have the Blu-RayDVD of this concert.

So awesome! Everyone should really buy it, it's called: London Calling.

  • Pero que bueno que es. Madre mia.

  • one of a greatest songs ever.....

  • @jessiespapa THE greatest ever;)

  • This is a rip off of The Pogues Sally MacLennane

  • @grumpyoldgitt Its not a rip off...it is in the style of the Seger sessions album which actually influenced the pogues back in the day :)

  • @infeted14 It is a rip off as whole chunks of this track are exactly the same as Sally MacLennane. 'Style' has nothing to do with it. 'Style' to which you refer is traditional. I've nothing wrong with musicians producing traditional music so long as it's not copied in massive chunks the way this song is. Get a grip.

  • @grumpyoldgitt style has everything to do with it...it is in the style of turn of the century music which uses very simple chord structures often similar to those of irish folk music. it is similar to that track but not a rip off. think your username on here is very well chosen!

springsteen would not just want to rip off a pogues track when he has created ten times the amount of quality tracks than the pogues

  • @infeted14 You really don't get it do you. It's not similar, it's exact. Just because musicians write great tracks doesn't mean they don't rip off the tracks.

Bruce has produced some great tracks and and is very politically correct but by comparing The Pogues with Springsteen though does show how childish you are.

  • @grumpyoldgitt It isn't exact actually...there is a difference. I've studied music for 15 years at the Royal Academy of Music and royal college of music...so I know what I am talking about. How is comparing the pogues with him childish? You said it is a rip off of the pogues...so comparing him is surely the thing to do. I cannot be bothered to argue with someone anymore mate!

  • @infeted14 Note for note, chunks of it is exact actually. You really should get your tinnitus looked at. If you really have studied at the Royal Academy of Music and royal college of music all I can say is that you must have failed spectacularly.

Comparing Springsteen with The Pogues is irrelevant that that is why your comment was childish. And I'm certainly not your 'Mate'.

  • @grumpyoldgitt Well you don't know me...or about my career. Stop being a grumyoldgitt and be happy!

I came out with a undergraduate and masters degree in musical composition thanks very much...have a great life.

  • @infeted14 Well all I can add is that you have my sympathy for your subsequent attack of tone deafness.

  • @grumpyoldgitt I don't want your pathetic sympathy...grow up and get a life

  • @infeted14 Cheez, it's taken you three months to come back with that pathetic reply.

  • @grumpyoldgitt look. springsteen is awsum. the pogues are eh. y the hell would bruce copy them. he probably duznt even know the song. it's irish folk, it all sounds similar. look up saint isabelle by tom morello, it has a very similar melody 2 this song. that duznt mean tom morello ripped off this song

  • @infeted14 i agree

  • @TheJohnny990 Thanks..that guy is a know it all...who knows nothing

  • @infeted14 ur welcome. I actually listened 2 the song he was reffering 2 and they dnt sound that much alike at all. somewhat similar melody that's about it.

  • @grumpyoldgitt not at all

  • This song just filled up the "Ole" Giants Stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey.....standing in the Pit with my hubby, and my son and daughter, well, just imagine the feeling ripping thru our hearts! What a joyous time, back in 09!!!!!!!!

  • Loved this song as a live show stopper first time i saw it (Wembley 2006) and wondered how good it would be with the band. Found out in Paris a year later and since. But this was an absolute huge performance, got to be my favourite performance of this song. Possible my favourite show ever

  • I wasnt a big fan of the seeger sessions but this just rocks, Nice one Bruce

  • 9/23 = Happy Birthday Bruce!!!!!!!!!!!!
