Also with all due respect the place is in ruins all over the planet because if you see in the beginning the huge isa ships are firing down at them with artillery all the time. Plus to supply the army's material need for their equipment they probably had to strip the area of resources quite a bit so they could manufacture their equipment.

this game is not worthy of buying. 2 reasons

1. theres only 5 multiplayer maps. on top of that they want you to pay to add 2 old maps from kz2... wtf!!! and out of those 5 maps people consistently map vote the same 2 maps. forcing you to play the same 2 maps over and over.

2. its much cheaper to rent from gamefly. once you finish the story(which took me about 4 or 5 days) then refer to my #1 reason.

Dude! The average 8.4 is BS! I was just like you...I thought KZ2 was good and the battles were the most epic ever. But the controls kind of pissed me off. They annoyed me because it was so weighed down. Overall I liked KZ2, gave it a 9.0. KZ3 on the other hand is definitely an improvement in STORY and GAMEPLAY! KZ3 is a 9.3! I'm having a much "funner" time in KZ3 because the controls seem tighter and I'm actually finding most of the cut scenes entertaining. The scores have jumped in a few days.

I'll tell you why this game got an 8 and is ranked lower than Killzone 2 by everyone but the PS3/ Killzone fanboys.1) Silenced overpowered pistols were in the first Killzone 2) Rushing enemies that you have a second to defend against and removale turrets arecirca 2007 in COD and Halo 3) On rails vehicle sections when EVERY other major shooter has controllable sections. PS3 exclusives the best, right? 4) NO extra online co-op modes. WTF?) Tell me ONE thing this game does to derserve a perfect.

all the maps are destroyed because they nuked their own city in KZ2, and the ISA butt rape them in KZ3. i hope they could come out with a low gravity map in the ship toward the end of the game. that'd be hot! i love the game for the most part and it's better than KZ2 in many ways, but i do have a few problems with KZ3. first off, Blood Gracht sucked the first time, why'd they bring it back? i'd have preferred Beach Head to come back. Elite was too easy this time. no Honor Ranks either.

I have to disagree with you Javan. Killzone 2 is definitly a bigger leap from Killzone 1 than killzone 3 was for 2. I say this because of the jump for graphics and gameplay, and story telling. Killzone 1 in my opinion was very weak in these areas, and Killzone 2 was a huge leap in these areas. Killzone 3, besides the little tweaks here and there, was pretty much killzone 2. Only story wise had more of a variety with more cutscenes.

The single player was cool, but I felt like I spent more time watching cutscenes than playing. I agree that they should make it 10-15 hrs long (but with more gameplay). The online is crazy good, though. Naughty Dog should put dedicated servers in Uncharted 3, because this and K2 are insanely smooth online.

I couldn't agree more. However what GG should do in the 4th game is take what they did in the 3rd one and add more in depth story to it. But blend in more game play with the cut scenes. Plus make the campaign at least 10 to 15 hours long.

I still hated Rico in KZ3. He was always fighting with Narville and was just causing problems throughout the whole game. I do agree that the campaign is one of the most enjoyable I've played in a long time to. The pacing of it was just fantastic. One of my complaints is wheres Natko? On a side note this probably has the best gun sounds in any game I've heard. Each gun actually sounds like a gun and not a little pea shooter.
