Banks vs Estacada 2008 High School Football Playoff Game

I was at the game and watched the play where the ref called it an incomplete pass, while instead Estacada clearly should have gotten the ball. If Estacada had gotten the ball on that play, they would have won the game. Both teams played a great game, but i think that Estacada would have won if the ref had made the right call. Well it's over and done with, just wanted to make sure that everyone knows that the ref sucked :D

Thank you to all who agree. I played in that game and was on the sidelines as it happened. It was totally a lateral and shouldnt been called a fumble and our ball.

It was clearly, clearly shown after banks' holding call, they threw to the side.

the banks receiver fumbled the ball and it went out of his hands and immediately into the hands of a ranger player.... 55 secons left in the game, and rangers leading 34-33..

people saw that.

and the ref called incomplete pass.

everyone knows an incomplete pass. that's why banks was stunned & est was estatic.

Estacada should have been playing astoria.

banks did not come back to win. they were ahead most of the game. est pulled ahead with 55 sec. to go.

Estacada, not banks should have played astoria. and they would have had a good chance of beating them, unlike banks.

Dude you have one good thing and that was linehan. and that was a bad call. also with that close of a game there really a team you can say is better. although we did drive it down field and almost score after the bs call. so how much "better" you were is up for debate

Banks did not kick ASS, their hearts were in their throats most of the game.

and...with 55 sec to go they fumbled the ball to estacada, with est leading finally 34-33. and the ref miscalled blatantly.

that's why banks was stunned. and est was estatic..

I know estacada, unlike banks, would have beaten astoria.

I don't see why they can't show instant replays like they do in the PRO games- this is a BIG deal to our kids and that the REF's can't call fair plays anymore just makes me sick- Well it is on their (Banks) shoulders knowing the plays and that those last calls put them thru--Unfairly--"GO RANGERS"

instant replay costs lots and lots of money i love estacada football i played for em but instant replay will never happen in high school football estacada got screwed though thats a givin

both teams played a great game, but I would have to agree that was a lateral, also, last touchdown looks like runner's knee is on ground prior to end zone???? BAD CALLS!!! Estacada deserves to be in the finals!

Nice video! QB threw 90 degrees from his body...looks lateral to me. Refs are human, but too bad plays can't be reviewed at the playoff level.

You can tell from the Quarterbacks body language that the "incomplete Pass" was a lateral. Any way great game played on both sides. Also some bad calls on both sides.
