Yes, in a few years, batteries will provide more power, but if history has taught us anything, it is that the devices will find ways to use every drop of power, so battery life won't improve to any meaningful degree. As for powering phones on static electricity or kinetic energy without a battery, yes, you could use those things to charge a battery, but you still need a battery. (Okay, I suppose you could use a capacitor, but the device would be quite a lot larger.) *sigh*

All Nice, Congratulations! BUT the invention of BATTERIES breathing OXYGEN would be a GLOBAL DISASTER. We are already struggling with global warming, increases in Carbon Dioxide levels and global deVegetation. What is rather needed is BATTERIES which breath CARBON DIOXIDE and give off OXYGEN. Virtually all 3D projections used these days is by mirror and fog manipulation on large stages like Japan's own Vocaloid concerts. The battery life one is new as well, referring to concurrent research on virus lined circuitry and conductors making batteries much more efficient.

There is new hologram technology being researched in Uni of Arizona, it projects holographic 3D onto a surface like glass but appears as true 3D with dynamic perspective. Probably what's being referenced actually
