What I got.... there was a story that talked about two cows named Black and Gus.

He saw it as a chance to make a play on words and speculate they were "black angus" cows (cattle raised for beef) as a pun

@theypretend no, the story was simply a truck transporting black angus cows, he read it wrong and said black and gus. He wasn't making a play on words, thats why he went back and read the paper again after the other guy pointed it out and that is why it is funny

This was probably a teleprompter mishap where the an was hyphenated to gus at the end of the line and the newcaster didn't catch it in time. VERY funny though!!! How embarrassing for the newscaster. Looks like he was a good sport about it.
