  • didnt forget you... some days no space to record in with too many people around... cant be as loud as i want to be... 4 minutes is in the machine, Reason loaded with 3 drumkits, 1 sic sub basement bass, an airy pad, trancey arp, Growling gremlins raving it out...need to tweak down the song sounds, then play pallete with the drums, fin this weekend... sunday-ish?

  • @rhoggard76 mmm my mind says, Reason.... Sound waves on seperate mixer, drums on seperate mixer, seperate efx on all channels, combined into another seperate mixer ran through a compression combine & another effects package...sound forge final editing...cheers!

  • @AMOKIAN Thanks for watching, I really need to do this more often. HAVE YOU TRIED THIS YET? Play your own tracks on Youtube from different links so that you can mix them over each other, this track sounds good a few steps out of sync!

  • Well done man. I would call it "intelligent Acid".

  • what? no 505? for shame.

  • @theddj The 505 has no place in my setup, i tried them when they first hit the shops and did not like them.

  • Plasteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek man - wow 1st ever Future Music, thats a very worthy production credit

  • @rhoggard76 Thanks for watching, there is plenty more releases from the farm, just search INTERLECT 3000 on DISCOGS for the full run down. Arron

  • @PHONICPOTION i cant go on discogs, i spend too much money... in shipping costs... LOL! ill hunt around

  • @rhoggard76 Stay away and save your hard earned cash!

  • @PHONICPOTION ill keep on crafting my production skills... just started a Dubstep tune in earnest today... now to dismantle those drum patterns til i own them...

  • @rhoggard76 Abi, the other half of S-CAT is a dub step DJ, she has a good stack of tunes here and would always be interested in hearing your finished track.

  • @PHONICPOTION mmm, will throw down my tricks on it then

  • @rhoggard76 She likes it to be daek and disturbing.

  • @PHONICPOTION had to peek, awesome list of production, 1 cd available from canada, everything else i'd be paying more for the shipping as usual...the Drop Shop is near me in Orlando for new vinyl...

  • @rhoggard76 Is new vinyl still selling well in your part of the world?

  • rrrrrroooooooooollllllllllll!!!!!! great tune!!! code red!!!

  • @KommtJuut Thankyou for watching, I am glad that you like this one. Please check out some of the other jam sessions on this site, there are quite a few on there now that you can find in amongst the circuit bent videos. Arron

  • Just another jam to pass the time

  • @PHONICPOTION ...well is there a better way 2kill time?

    yummie gear :)

  • @XHALE303 I just grab all of the stuff from upstairs when I get the feeling and plugg it up for these jams, it is still set up so I might have another session later tonight. Thanks for watching. Arron

  • @PHONICPOTION

well good 2see you also use them 4music once in a while

& not only circuit bend them :)

  • @XHALE303 I have had this roland set up since the mid eighties and have never circuit bent any of the classic rolands, there is just no need. I have used all of my experience in writting and releasing this type of stuff to influence the circuit bent machines. My first acid track release was CAN'T TAKE IT, which was also on the first cover CD of Future Music.

  • @PHONICPOTION indeed no need 2 bend those classics :) i owned most of them...but sold them all over the years :(

hey thats cool...then i have your track :) i still have all the FMs

my 1st Rec was on the ''House against hate'' comp. LP in '92

& my 2nd was an EP with 4 trax

    & went NR1 Dancechart in 4countries & some top 10

also a remix was mastered by Carl Cox

so pretty unexpected when u release a 1st EP :) keep it up

  • @XHALE303 Are you still releasing stuff now? I am thinking about starting a little label project. Long live the analogue sound. Arron

  • @PHONICPOTION well u can sign me up :)

but no hardly...it cost more 2 get my royalties these days

then i earn from it with all those filthy downloaders

but im still a Soundengineer & produce & remix 4others

    indeed hardware 4 life :)....

weird...they have 100x more options with software

we could only dream about in the 80s

& all they come up with is ''Minimal'

    thats evolution backwards

  • @XHALE303 If I get it off the ground then I will get in contact. My theory on the minimal sound that is made with software is that once you add a few soft synths, drum machines and effect puggins then they just run out of cpu power and have to keep thing simple.

  • @PHONICPOTION ok thats fine :)

yeah thats one way 2explain it...but i think its just a lack of creativity

& knowing the roots of dance music

    i mean we started with 2synths & a drumcomputer

    & was even better :)

  • @XHALE303 Not sure if they get out and hear things on a big rig anymore, we have a 20 k rig that we built ourselves and I always played live techno out on it and then went home and got in the studio with mental notes on what worked on the floor.

  • @PHONICPOTION in 1998 when i started with making music on a pc that was very much the case nowadays i still here the differents between a pc and drumcomputers with synthesizers.
