I had a 1989 Town Car. Was totalled in an accident in 12/08. I still miss that car. Loved it!! I own a 2000 Grand Marquis with the 4.6. It's a great engine!
@hechozeme1 Dude that was one hell of a accident to total a 1980's lincoln towncar.
I've seen a 1986 towncar decimate a ford expedition, SUV was drawn off on a flatbed, towncar lost a signal lens and we had to pull the bumper back out... oh it had a small scratch on the front quarter panel to, no real cosmetic or physical damage, turn signal lens was 60 cents at pull-a-part.
Was at the airport today. Saw this old guy in a black suit get dropped off by a clean black towncar with limo tint. I drove behind it for some time on the freeway....So sharp with the tinted windows lol!
Congratulations!!! You successfully pulled out of a parking space! Now lets see if you can accelerate to the proper speed limit in less than 3 minutes.
V8 4.5 liter, it can move, I assure you. That is stock...soo much room under the hood for extra work. That car can be made to move actually very quickly.
@ncole90 in WHAT time? mass is good for max speed but adverse for gatherin up speed... see again your trash lacks precision... just seen usa today documentary that all your electro bases (except cpu+ pro stuff etc) belongs to us err them... precision dudes not materialschlachten...
I can't believe Ford is discontinuing the Town car, except for livery. I think they've finally gone completely out of their minds, or there's a saboteur in their midst. What's going to take it's place? MKS? It better be good or they're going to lose a lot of business.
i have a 2000 crown victoria. my next car will be a 2003+ Towncar. i want to drive what presidents drive.

These ARE sharp cars. Even my "plain jane" Crown Vic is more luxurious and stately than 90% of what else I see on the road.
