I grew up in Schdy's Bellevue section in the 60's. Loved it so much I wrote a novel set in Bellevue - got published, too. Now I want to make a movie set in Schdy. It's a shame what's happened to portions of the boyhood town I loved - I hope & pray Schdy can turn around.

I use to live in Sch'dy. Realized how bad it was getting so I moved to PA. Ten times better here then living is hell hole Sch'dy NY. Don't miss it at all either.

I really miss the way things used to be. Remember the "PopCorn Man" at the corner of State & Brandywine right at the bank there? Also the other PopCorn Man on Brandywine and Albany Street? His Name I recall was Eddie Spelsey and Roy Fetter worked for him selling popcorn. Roy is all grown up and living in Mariaville Lake area. Wow so many memories, keep them comming!
I have a cleanup plan, It involves SWAT, Assault Rifles, Auto-Shotguns, body armor and crack to lure them out into the streets. The ONLY solution to Schenectady's crime problem is Martial Law and suspension of civil liberties. We need to police Schdy like they police a warzone. Curfew, Checkpoints and Judge Dredd style justice.
