  • Good work ... thanks for posting these!

  • Nice music but they all look like jesus to me!

  • to listen it , i realise how much i' m lucky to born in the rignt time , i have 13 in 1970 and i begin to listen music with 5 dimention , doors , janis , hendrix and pink floyd Middle ,

  • god i do not think anyone understands my desire to live in the 70's, 21st century sucks, god must have been so great and not to mention not as fucked up

  • thank you so much for this - you have worked hard but so many have loved revisiting their youth. What a lovely gift to give - peace to you:)

  • Great video. I really enjoyed it!

  • Awesome!

  • So now I can see who sang whatsit and wot the thingybobs actually looks like. But after so much info i will have to go back again to remember wot it was i never really knew - even tho i kind of knew it...

  • Very Nice collage. By the way.... The Cowsills song is actually titled "The Rain, The Park, and Other Things"

  • It was enough to hear few seconds to know that the song performed by "The Cowsills" (2:49), is so beautiful.

  • Wow. Talk about seeing your life flash before your eyes! Lord knows my youth just did! Thanks so much for all the effort you put into this.

  • Great video! Thank you.

The song at 2:49 is called The Rain, the Park & Other Things

  • The Bee Gee song at 6:28 is "Night Fever", from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. Probably just a subconcious mistake.

  • These videos are amazing! they have the best music :) I wish I could live in the 60s and 70s.

  • You've done a fantastic job!!! To me, the great benefit of what you've done, is to put the artist's name, and song name, with the specific part of the song, so that it can be identified. Thank you. I've added this to my favourites list....

  • this is reallly really true

  • Gotta have more velvet underground and more who and stones and beatles

  • im in my 20's and i love this stuff

  • During this time of course Fleetwood Mac was still a blues band . . . should have included "Oh Well" instead of "You Can Go Your Own Way" or whatever it was called. Too commercial for my taste but a nice job on the rest of this clip.

  • this is when rock was rock not that claptrap they play today

  • Hi AW444,just happened to see this site.Brings back fond memories of the days of the music during this era. These songs r just awesome. At times when you hear some of these songs, it just give you a nice feeling that words cannot express.I have been looking around for all these compilations of the 60s n 70s in cds. There r,but most of it is not good enough.Preferable the songs in TOP OF THE POP or BEAT CLUB(during that era).Is there any one out there have any suggestions regarding this.Tks AW444.

  • I like to reminisce with people I don't know

was consumed, thanks , nice touch at the end, very appropriate.

  • i gotta say I'm amazed the amount of effort people put in to create these clips, they must spend hours editing these things, really is very cool that people take the time out to make these clips for the rest of us to enjoy

  • @tryandlisten Thanks for the comment. Yes it took hours and hours and hours, days and days and days to make the 7 parts on youtube. There is an 8th one, but youtube deleted it. My love for the music and youtube inspired me to make these. Glad you enjoyed it. Peace!

  • @AmberWaves444 Thank you indeed! Now if only I can find all of these songs to download on ipod

  • @tryandlisten or your just reallly outta date. i played 25 or 6 to 1 when i was a senior in highschool... i grauated 2008.... but u might be my dads school KELLOGG highschool he was born 1956..

  • @tryandlisten Excellent point. I love that others love music like so many of us do. Thanks for the effort!!!

  • Excellent ending to the video! It's both a great song and nice message about yesterday's beloved music and how we can still believe in it

  • The Cowsills - The Rain, the Park and Other Things.

  • What a GREAT choice to represent THOSE times! thanx

  • MORE BEATLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @twodudets123 FYI The Beatles are the only band that is included in all 7 parts! Huge Beatle fan here.

    Thanks for watching!

  • @AmberWaves444 Nice vid....Well done.

  • @twodudets123 I qite agree that you can never have enough Beatles- but after all, this is a tribute to ALL the music of the 60's and 70's. there are plenty of Beatles tributes/compilations out there

  • thanx a lot

    bee gees the best

  • At 16 years old I have to say one thing. QUEEN QUEEN QUEEN!!!!!!

  • You saved the best for last. You sir, win 9,999,999 internets. Also known as winning at the internet.

    search cinnamon doll jazz

  • Thanks for the post.

  • With each song I can remember an event in my life!

  • Save the best for last! (The Beatles) :D Yesterday is a great song!

  • Leavin the best for the end :)

  • There are more wonderful songs from the 60's, the Spanish singer Masiel and her "Lalala"

  • im so happy i knew like 90% of these songs

  • You should add "13th Floor Elevators (you're gonna miss me), "The Seeds (pushin' too hard)" and "Canned Heat (on the road again".

  • hi_ÀÑýÔñÈ_wÅñNÁ_chât_wÏth_mê_i_fÊEl_sÕ_loNelÿ_tóÐÅÿ▼

  • BJ Thomas for "Hooked on a Feeling"? No no no no no. He debuted it (didn't write it), but the 1975 Blue Swede version is the one that everyone remembers. That's the version used in countless YouTube videos (Dancing Baby, anyone?), featured on Reservoir Dogs, Ally McBeal, and on and on and on.

  • @pursang Don't worry! I didn't forget the Blue Swede version, it is the first song in part 3. I also liked the B.J. Thomas version too. Thanks for watching!

  • @pursang ....no way! BJ Thomas's Hooked On A Feeling is the one my generation remembers...always thought the Blue Swede one was just stupid!!! Awesome video tho...awesome!

  • @htdgz Gotta disagree - when you think "Hooked On A Feeling" you think "Ooga-chucka, ooga-chucka" and that is Blue Swede! Yeah, it's dumb, but it's the version used in all the TV shows, videos, etc. Just like Eddie Cochran wrote and performed 'Summertime Blues', but the most definitive version might well be the first hard rock version done in 1968 by Blue Cheer which preceded and charted higher than the The Who's rehash.

  • 0:46 next to Mick jagger it looks like Jim Varney aka Ernest

  • Absolutely fantastic I could sit here and listen to them all puts the majority of today's 'music' to shame. Well done

  • great songs

  • that was awesome and putting yesterday song last was prefect.

  • I like how you only bothered for one album name and that was Dark Side. It's undoubtedly the best, isn't it? :)

  • The rain, the park, and other things......

  • @plaetoe yup, you're right about that one, little mistake! lol

  • Nice job...but duh Where is the Who? Joni Mitchell? CSN&Y? Harry Chapin? Billy Joel? Moody Blues? Gordon LIghtfoot?

  • is it just me or that picture of Bj Thomas looks like Patrick Swayze ? lol

  • Incredible music and a time to be alive. I really wish i could have been apart of it. I dont know what the worlds problem is today but i sure as hell hope we can figure it out.

  • bandwidth well spent

  • you saved the best for last yeah

  • This is so Awesome!!!!

  • Could Not Have Got Any Better! And not only the greatest bands and singers the pictures are superb. Where did you get such a great collection?

    Thank You! Sir David.

  • We forgive you- Daryl Hall and John Oates, Private Eyes came was released in 1981...Also, Styx's - The best of time came out that same year.

  • GREAT JOB !!! YOU'VE WORKED SO HARD TO CREATE THIS !!!

  • @OCEANQUEEN1 Thank you, it was a lot of hard work to create all of them. Glad you liked it!

  • CCR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • What an era! I grew up with every one of these songs. Music will never ever be as good again! Thank you for a GREAT video.

  • Wow, the Wilson sisters from Heart were crazy hot back then.

  • I almost thought you forgot the beatles! xD great time that I wish I ws from.... :')

  • @drstarfires The Beatles are actually the only band I included in all 7 videos! Peace

  • You made A video about the 60's and 70's, But you put B.J.Thomas's rendition of "hooked on A feeling" and not Blue Swede's ! what were you thinking? You may as well have put Madonna's rendition of American pie too! BOOOOOOOOO!

  • @bigfootskitty I used the Blue Swede version to start off part 3! so stop booooing! lol Peace!

  • This is the best of the best! Thanks so much for sharing!

  • Wow, actual music.

So what has happened to popular music?

Simple, none of the executives in the music industry have a background in music; we have non-musicians running the music business!

  • "the music scene has got me down, cause i dont want to be a clown" does anyone know what song thats from?

  • yes the best music is over, but the memories are still there..peace on..

  • yes the best music is over, but the memories are still there..

    George Vreeland Hill

  • kills me to think we'll never get this level of musicianship ever again. Music was more pure back then, less distractions & less technology to be distracted by. Sure searching for a "new sound" is good but hell, people have forgouten about the meaning of music! It's 90% recycled stolen ideas these days. No one's appears to be original.. I was born way to late haha would have loved this era.

  • wow cant belive i missed this stuff i was born 1975 but i love this music 50s 60s 70s are great listen to it all the time it will never die out thanks for the clip

  • I'd live my life all over again if I have to

  • Thank you for the drive through the memories in my mind. I remembered each and every one of these songs and how the made me feel back than. My generation was lucky enough to have experienced good music back when.

  • yeaaahh !! the creedences

  • Do you have any Dennis Yost/ClassicsIV ?

  • I was a child in the 70's but my sisters were older so I would listen to what they were listening. In our house, either the radio was always playing music or the portable WINCO playing 45's). This was music that was composed by real TALENT. The voices were harmonious, the instrumentation was impeccable, the meaning of the songs made sense. I cannot listen to radio anymore, it hurts my ears.

  • nicely done, gonna watch the rest of them now!

  • I own a 97 Dodge & the CD player does not work in there but the cassette player does.

Which means cassettes were better & technology should go back to albums & cassettes.

The cds get damaged easier & the systems break down easier w/cds.

Just because it's modern does not mean better?

  • private eyes is from 81! lol great compilation though...interested to watch the other parts.

  • Very nice mix of some great songs from the sixties and seventies. Enjoy. It will make you want to drag out some of your old records, eight tracks, cassettes and c.d's! :)

  • outstanding video. love it

  • I realy love all the song's of this 60s & 70s!!!!!!!!!!!

    WONDERFULL!
