Thank you for your hard work was looking for songs to buy on amazon for a christmas gift and i found several i needed listening to your video gonna check out the others too
to listen it , i realise how much i' m lucky to born in the rignt time , i have 13 in 1970 and i begin to listen music with 5 dimention , doors , janis , hendrix and pink floyd Middle ,
god i do not think anyone understands my desire to live in the 70's, 21st century sucks, god must have been so great and not to mention not as fucked up
So now I can see who sang whatsit and wot the thingybobs actually looks like. But after so much info i will have to go back again to remember wot it was i never really knew - even tho i kind of knew it...
You've done a fantastic job!!! To me, the great benefit of what you've done, is to put the artist's name, and song name, with the specific part of the song, so that it can be identified. Thank you. I've added this to my favourites list....
During this time of course Fleetwood Mac was still a blues band . . . should have included "Oh Well" instead of "You Can Go Your Own Way" or whatever it was called. Too commercial for my taste but a nice job on the rest of this clip.
Hi AW444,just happened to see this site.Brings back fond memories of the days of the music during this era. These songs r just awesome. At times when you hear some of these songs, it just give you a nice feeling that words cannot express.I have been looking around for all these compilations of the 60s n 70s in cds. There r,but most of it is not good enough.Preferable the songs in TOP OF THE POP or BEAT CLUB(during that era).Is there any one out there have any suggestions regarding this.Tks AW444.
i gotta say I'm amazed the amount of effort people put in to create these clips, they must spend hours editing these things, really is very cool that people take the time out to make these clips for the rest of us to enjoy
@tryandlisten Thanks for the comment. Yes it took hours and hours and hours, days and days and days to make the 7 parts on youtube. There is an 8th one, but youtube deleted it. My love for the music and youtube inspired me to make these. Glad you enjoyed it. Peace!

@twodudets123 I qite agree that you can never have enough Beatles- but after all, this is a tribute to ALL the music of the 60's and 70's. there are plenty of Beatles tributes/compilations out there
Nice collection! memories are flowing back! i just saw a video of neil young's cinnamon girl (one of my faves) mixed with duke ellington's satin doll. a crazy good arrangement! ck it out.
BJ Thomas for "Hooked on a Feeling"? No no no no no. He debuted it (didn't write it), but the 1975 Blue Swede version is the one that everyone remembers. That's the version used in countless YouTube videos (Dancing Baby, anyone?), featured on Reservoir Dogs, Ally McBeal, and on and on and on.
@pursang Don't worry! I didn't forget the Blue Swede version, it is the first song in part 3. I also liked the B.J. Thomas version too. Thanks for watching!
@pursang ....no way! BJ Thomas's Hooked On A Feeling is the one my generation remembers...always thought the Blue Swede one was just stupid!!! Awesome video tho...awesome!
@htdgz Gotta disagree - when you think "Hooked On A Feeling" you think "Ooga-chucka, ooga-chucka" and that is Blue Swede! Yeah, it's dumb, but it's the version used in all the TV shows, videos, etc. Just like Eddie Cochran wrote and performed 'Summertime Blues', but the most definitive version might well be the first hard rock version done in 1968 by Blue Cheer which preceded and charted higher than the The Who's rehash.
Incredible music and a time to be alive. I really wish i could have been apart of it. I dont know what the worlds problem is today but i sure as hell hope we can figure it out.
You made A video about the 60's and 70's, But you put B.J.Thomas's rendition of "hooked on A feeling" and not Blue Swede's ! what were you thinking? You may as well have put Madonna's rendition of American pie too! BOOOOOOOOO!
kills me to think we'll never get this level of musicianship ever again. Music was more pure back then, less distractions & less technology to be distracted by. Btw, the song by the Cowsills is not called "I Love the Flower Girl." it's called "The Rain, the Park and the Other Thing." But otherwise, great video!!
the 70's songs on this sure bring back alot of memories! I was in high school from 1973-1976. I remember all these 70's! songs. I wouldn't trade them for the world, the best music then!!!! Good rock music!
Sorry you blew it half of these are the 70's and you missed most of the great music of the 60's.. most of this is pop i think you even had a couple tunes from the 80's in there
in the 60`s , alot of people were on LSD.. and look what it brought uss... good music :D mayb sum musicians today should do the same..well actualy most muscians.
