Ich spiel selbst Akkordeon und versuche immer wieder den schlechten Ruf dieses tollen Instruments als "Quetsch", "Knutsch" oder "veraltetes Musikantenstadlinstrument" bei meinen Zuhörern auszulöschen! Wenn ich mir diesen Musiker anschaue, dann erblasse ich vor Respekt und weiß, dass das Akkordeon neben E-Gitarre und anderen "üblichen" Instrumenten wirklich eine Zukunft hat!

Ok - I just learned his "songs" today in about 2min. Now I can "play like him".

I still don't want to judge him. I will judge his accordion playing - and I see it as amateurish, repetetive, simple. He needs many hours of real practice and a teacher etc. What we don't like is you people calling him "king" and "master" etc. You tell me why you think he is the "king of accordion", musically speaking. And, Hallatota, don't reply to my comments please.

Ich hab den vor 12-13 Jahren öfter mal gehört in München (da ist er meist zusammen mit einer Percussionistin aufgetreten) und glaube mich erinnern zu können, dass die Stücke damals wesentlich komplexer und interessanter waren, also denke ich er kann mehr als diese relativ belanglosen, eingängigen Sachen. Aber schlecht finde ich das auch nicht, speziell wenn man ihn "live" hört.
