  • Do you notice a sort of "clipping" effect happening on the bridge pickup if you strum or pick forcefully? I have a '61 reissue also, and I had to drop the pickups lower into the body to compensate for that effect as it seems to be causing a sort of "swelling" effect on the attack on high-gain pedals. Wondering if it's just me, but I seemed to notice it in your video too, around :08.

  • @terraf0rm Hi, for me, it does happen but really depends on the amp I am using. The little Champ heard in this video gets saturated quite easily. On my Vox AC-30 or my Marshall JMP-1 preamp, I don't get it.

  • great man! :)

Can i have the settings of the amp and the settings of the big muff?Tnx!

  • @kingdjin 1974 Fender Silverface Champ (BASS on 10, Treble on 2.5, Volume on 3).

Big Muff settings: Volume at 10 o'clock, Tone at 10 o'clock and SUSTAIN at 11 o'clock. You can usually find the settings used in my videos in the description (click on show more underneath the video).

  • "Niets is echt moeilijk" Belg? :p

  • Thanks! I put Ernie Ball 10/46 (the yellow pack). Years ago I tried different brands but went back to good old Ernie Ball.

  • Nice, man. What gauge strings do you use on your SG? Great vid.
