Had a chance to return to, what I consider the best fire department in the world, but was laid off again. I am married with kids and couldn't risk not having a paycheck. BTW, I am white but color blind to skin. I miss Detroit but not the politics. Too many "fire commissioners" without any fire ground experience, just political experience.

I am white, still in the city, and If more WHITES that LOVE the city so much would move back the neighborhoods wouldnt be so lonely... Holy shit and I thought Minneapolis' streets were terrible but I would say Detroits got some shitty ass streets. Good job DFD. haha
