You know, every once in a while something breaks through and makes people take notice. Even people who aren't usually into that style of music take notice. That's what happened with Nirvana, in 1990 bands like the Stone Roses were trying to undo the poppy synthesizer-filled mess that was the 1980's so when Nirvana stepped off a plane the whole of Britain stood still to watch. Reading in 1992 saw the end of that crap and the beginning of bands like Radiohead, Bush, Garbage and Placebo. RIP KC!
