@petersruwen His timing was probably off. They were just adjusting it. When they do the virtual choirs with larger groups of people, they just don't show the people they are adjusting when they are adjusting them.

I usually hate soprano voices, but the sop.1's voice is GORGEOUS in this piece. Sometimes they can be too shrill, but hers is full bodied and beautiful!

I adore the way the Eric Whitacre uses Dissonance in his chords, he does it so flawlessly.... I don't think I've heard a composer use it so effectively in my life.

It is yummy stuff for the ears.

I don't mean to say reiterate what everyone has said, but the soprano 1 in the lower right corner has the most beautiful soprano vocal chords! Her tone is so bright and resonant and the vibratto is phenomenal.

Oh my! This is lovely! I like hearing the small group. The vocal quality is amazing! When I recorded mine I had to do it many times b/c the streaming was off(with high speed) and then when I would play back there would be a click or the voice would be in slow motion. So glad I finally got it right, but the virtual part of it was challenging for me, the queen of the technologically challenged! LOL!!

Same problem here as with the whole Virtual Choir projects: It constantly clicks, the consonants (not just Ts, Ks or Ps, but even Ls or Ms) are not as synchronized as you would get it in a live performance (or at least in a performance where the singers sing together and can hear each other).

@ascion That's where a good sound editor comes in handy. :)

But the synchronization problem isn't as big as you'd think. With a small group, yes it makes a big difference. But when you've got hundreds of voices they're perhaps more likely to be in sync when they can't hear each other, since you don't get the space delay.
