This is just one of those moves that isolates u an the movie as thou your there enjoying it yourself just like the movie CastAway. Serious adventure that captures our silence cause are eyes to be drawn to the scenic beauty of what spell nature has casted has I love this movie.
my favirote scene in the movie is those mouses looking at him and their like "OMG HES EATING OUR BROTHER/SISTER" then he starts gobbling them and their like "OMFG WERE NEXT, RUN" XD i love that scene
mice are rodents like beavers and muskrats and squirrels and rabbits etc..., I wonder how they taste? probably similar to them, but beavers taste like what they eat, as do all animals i believe it to be...
makes me wonder if we as humans would be able to survive on mice alone.......as disgusting as it may be but in a case where there is no food....i guess i would do the same ;-)
i love this scene when he notices the mice watching him while he's eating one of their own... and they seem to be imploring him with their tiny squeaks... and then he goes nuts and starts gobbling the rest up while laughing maniacally as the mice all scurry off frightened... fucking hilarious!!! p.s. call me crazy, those cooked mice look delicious! probably taste great... like rabbit!
@slevisman Haha, that's what I always think when I watch this scene. Oddly, in movies when people are eating something that would seem disgusting (like mice or bugs) it always seems to make you hungry...
An hectic research done by Farley. I learned so much about wolves from his book, great read. Now when I see wolf, I can relax and try to read their behaviour without fear. I feared wolves when I was a kid from children fictions.
It´s just that we have lost contact with food from its origin, plus we do not know the meaning of hunger... if you knew where our food comes from and how its made, I´m afraid you´d starve to death ;)
I guess I could eat mice...but they would have to be WELL COOKED!
But one can get creative when hungry.....

Farley is my favourite Canadian author too.
