North Cascades NP Sept 2008

I camped a couple nights here this summer, 1 night on baker lake road a huge black bear ran across the road right by where i was gonna camp, but i got scared for me and my girlfriend and we went to this other campground . We went to Glacier, Yellowstone, Tetons and seen so much wildlife that I had to get over my fear of grizzlies.

Thank you. We never lost our enthusiasm, but the trail maintenance in the back country was very poor. This park is as good as Glacier and less traveled. Enjoy it. A lot less bear worries too.

We are planning a family vacation to the North Cascades-I really enjoyed the photos and the music and comments were great! The beginning of every hike is great, then you begin to wonder why are we doing this but in the end, it is so worth it! The scenery is beautiful! Thank you!
