Easily among my top five bands at the time, I collected every record I could get hold of. I'm... actually thankful that I had this music, and to have carried it with me. It meant a lot to me, and still does. I never got the chance to see Malaria live, regrettably.

I haven't seen these images before though, but they compliment the song perfectly.

this music sounds awesome. very different. but i realised that a new track i was working sounds somewhat familiar music-wise. mine's a hip hop track so it's not that close.

I remember getting music like this from Brave New Waves here in Canada.

Malaria is fantastic. And Bettina makes me sad that real androgyny hardly exists today. Androgyny is when someone looks like both...not when someone looks the opposite of what their genetic sex is. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I just wish people knew the actual definition and I wish there were some lesbian women that looked like this. She's my dream girl.

When I was involved in malaria control, I also propagated the widespread use of the larva-eating fish, Gambusia, for extensive dissemination in the large bodies of water in the catchment areas. Not only did I personally go to the mountains; I also went to the depths of the region in spreading the fish. The fish not only ate the larvae of the mosquitoes (of all species, including Anopheles), the adult fish were also quite nutritious when eaten by the malnourished children.
