    'o'

  • Ang galing mo naman! (BRAVO!)

  • This stage was the most difficult one even if compared with the final boss in Gradius 3!!

  • I came

  • GOD!!

  • what......the.....*mind explodes*

  • Amazing. So what does this lead into, boss-wise, once the crystal mess is done with?

  • @Lycanthrokeith The lizard core, also exclusive to the arcade version. Basically, it's a core with two flexible arm cannons, in addition to the canons in its center. It's extremely difficult, mainly because it has no fixed attack/firing pattern whatsoever. It's as if a second player is controlling it, trying to destroy you.

  • @Lycanthrokeith Just a run of the mill core boss

  • @METAL1ON my thoughts exactly. doesnt look that hard...

  • hahahaha i beat this stage in the arcades many years ago only about 3 times though, and then what do you get stage 10 the mother of all hard shit this was bad stage 10 was evil stupid lazer things and the turning out of the lights and those really dumb annoying things that blocked your path early in the stage, whole game was a git to beat, but it was better than the snes version people only liked that because it was EASY!!!

  • This stage Blows my mind.

  • Fucking hardcore. But I guess I still can beat it with two lifes or something like that.

  • @jairaugustosoares Except you respawn at the midpoint of the level. You die, you start over.

  • @villadelfia On this stage when you die you start from the very begining no matter where you were.

  • Gradius iii? I've never seen this level and I've beaten the game so many times.

  • This is from the arcade version and this level wasn't included in the snes version.

  • This is the Arcade version, which has a difficulty level approximately equal to hitting a dragon with an arrow while it is on fire during a rainstorm in China on turn the air to smoke day. In other words, impossibly hard. The SNES version was made much easier, but lost three of the levels in the Arcade version, the cube rush, the organic stage, and the three-d stage.

An extra stage was added, however, and it is also a high speed stage.

  • Nice comparison, but thanks XD

  • I lol`d like a schoolgirl at 1:10

  • I love this game

  • こういうやり方は初めて見た・・・凄い!

  • ooooh this stage is insane, those cubes move fast even with max speed, i tried this stage with max speed, but i ended up crashing to them.

  • 変態だ・・・!

    しかし、懐かしい^^

  • OH GOD. INSANE.

That fine level of control is ASTOUNDING! *jaw drops*

  • ... insane and amazing... 5 sstars

  • OMG its the ice cube of death. you need be over the top skilled to live until this.

  • assain13, 15 tries only?... i lose my count, but finally i did it on my PSP. I practically memorized all the movements to evade the cubes. The SNES version is thousuands of times easier. But this arcade version is also enjoyable if u r not the kind of person that always wants to win and, u take in mind that u will be playing this game for a looong time before u can finish it.

  • tviks uses savestates i think

  • か、神業!!

  • he have witnessed the work of a shump god.

  • Ahh, I see you used all 5 speed ups. Is that how it's done.

  • I can't beleieve what I've just seen! A human cannot be playing surely? This level killed me in the arcade back in '91. Never did get past it.

  • nice job this stage look hella hard to beat passing all these cube attack ^.^ I really am amazed of ur work here.

  • totally ghey that this isnt in the snes

  • what version of gradius 3 is this because in the snes version i never played this level either... but it looks REDICULUS!!

  • It's the arcade version.

  • HOLY SHIT!!! yeah i hated this game too. too damn hard.

  • boy i hate this gradius... it's EXTREMELY hard to be enjoyable.

I prefer gradius 2: gofer no yabou and gradius V.

    BTW...that cube dodging was great!

  • Ya man what was Konami thinking? Why did they make it so effin hard? They had it perfect with Gradius 2.

  • Huh... I don't remember playing this level as a child on the SNES. I guess it wasn't included in the SNES version so the kiddies like me could actually beat it?

  • yeah this stage is crazy it took me like 15 tries to get through it

  • That is my most hated level in any shmup. >_>

  • this stage is a pain

  • Some of the maneuvers he pulled off amazed me, like just how he zipped around some corners at light speed like nothing when I woulda probably crashed if I attempted anything similar. Great handwork!

  • i can't get pass this stageeeeeeeee

  • your just too good (Gogs)

  • 凄いですね^^

  • I wanna try the cube rush

  • I remember the snes version back good ol best snes days and I certainly dont remember this one in the game.

  • The Cube Rush wasn't included in the SNES version, Konami made the SNES version as player friendly as they could.

  • diffusion limited aggregation?

  • You say this stage is only available for the PS2 version?

  • The only version of Gradius III you won't find it in is the SNES version, lets put it that way for simplicity

  • it was also in the original arcade version

  • Awesome!

  • Awesome!

  • This is the case of someone paying close attention in math class. Look closely young jack-asses.

  • Have you even played this game before?

  • Crud, does a Rotating Option exist in this game? That coulda gotten rid of those dudes behind you..

  • Not in the standard version, no. It's an unlockable bonus in the PS2 version, though.

  • Wow!

Can you tell when the cubes will charge somehow?

  • Godlike.

  • I don't know what is more impressive, dodging those cubes, evading the option eater or dodging the various bullets coming from behind...whatever you choose, it's one hell of a good play! Bravo!

  • holy crap! thats some skill! excellent cordination!

i used the cheap way ><

  • Only lots of practice, nerves of steel, and great coordination can make you this damned good, nice job tviks.

  • Lovely jubbly. Can't wait until Gradius IV is properly emulated for ya, Tviks. :)

  • That's insane. Great job, and I can't wait to see more from you.

  • This is what seperates the boys from the men.
