At first people think it was the greatest game in the world and then for a week or two they throw it away or sell it. Its one of those games that you like playing at first but then get very bored very quickly. I think they don't know how to release a game cause they released it too early. They're like "WOW! people really like the trailer! Lets hurry and release it!"

@TheRetroZombie I still love it, but you have a point. What they need is an expansion. Becuase the story is cliff hangered so it can be sequeled. Basically, I think that was the plan from the start, and they really needed to just test run the game world wide with a quick release. Hopefully, the next one will have more skins, or classes. Like heavy predator, synthetic and predalien etc.

i loved all AVP games...

in multiplayer, i always play as marine... its the best race imo... its weaker yes, but can see all enemies with the movement scanner and you can surprise them as well...

ya aliens have the speed and that is there strong point, in the original though i didnt find the same thrill playing as aliens as i did playing the marines or predator- predator was fun hunting ppl and using technology, marines it was fun being in the dark all alone, listening to predator sounds or aliens being about. then kicking shit with a lot of different guns. i can tell u though i think all races will be kick ass in the new game though :) cant w8- i think release date is feb 2010

Depends. Predators usually have better social capabilities with humans judging by the games, which helps fans relate to alot quicker than the Aliens. They also have alot of guns and gadgets which is really cool. Aliens are very unique and very gory in the way they attack. They also are known better than Predators due to the success and amounts of movies.
