  • Christies!!! You paid $500! I just bought one for $40. Great video though!

  • I just start it by going down the hill on my driveway, that way's too much of a nuisance! haha nice bike

  • do you know where I can get a throttle cable?

It seems impossible to find parts for kinetic mopeds

  • I got mine doing 55km today

  • Thats not a choke on a stock kinetic, its the decompression lever.

  • SLOW DOWN THE CAMERA MOVEMENT!!!!

WOW, slow way down. Move the camera very slowly.

Do you really think this looks good like this?

You knowledge and desire to share this review are great but it really helps to have another person filming while you talk.

That and SLOW DOWN the camera movement.

  • is it hard to pedal when you are using it as a bicycle? how is the horn, please make more vids im really interested in these mopeds, but i don't know to much about them.

  • Why dint you show the tool box in the back of it

  • couple questions...1.)when you take the air filter off is there an actual filter or just a metal thing with some plastic thing with three holes behind it? 2.)Does your rear wheel make a clanking noise? like inside the gear box?

  • what age is necessary to drive this?

  • @beastmode1742 state pending....you shouldnt rely on youtube as a reliable source...just go online and look up the state statutes and laws on mopeds for your state...

  • very cool bike, i think i will get one

  • know where to get parts for one of these?

  • Thank you for this is a useful review. When a student at UC Berkeley in 1969 I bought a Ciao and ran for 8 years when it was stolen in Charleston SC with 55,000+ miles. It needed almost no repairs and ran perfectly for those eight years. Now in Beckley WV at age 69 I found a 1978 Bravo with under 500 miles. Yes, it runs well, and I have even found a local mechanic to service it. I thought about a tfr, but worried about Indian reliability. Has yours held up? Do you think it will go 55K?

  • @compchap im not sure about 55,000, but i have put almost 800 miles on it, with no problems at all. Its a long way to go, but its holding up great so far.

  • Please suggest an insurer (name and if possible telephone number) for Brooklyn, New York.

  • Love your moped. Thanks for the nice review. I hope you have many years and miles together.

  • can u still ride that in 2011

  • thats not the choke you dum dum, its the decompressor

  • How reliable is it? I'm considering something like this, but need to know it won't crap out on me... =D

  • I've got a 2005 TFR I need o fix up. I'm getting a 100cc kit for it. Ae you on mopedarmy?

  • now its Mahindra 2 wheelrs

  • do u need a licence to drive that moped?

  • is it a cosmo blazar ll? that's what i got of craigslist....Do you recomend it over a tomos?

  • I have one of these. mine's blue though. I love it.

  • I just got a 2001 kenetic moped on craigslist

  • lever on left handlebar is decompression, not a choke. the decompression releases the compression from head. the choke is located on the carburetor and increases the flow of fuel into the carb.

  • i just got one of these for free. mine is black, and modified to go over 90cc. i dont need a key to start it, i just pedal/walk it till it starts. a fellow kinetic rider!

  • hey i will trade you a beach cruzer 80cc with a engine kit

  • i was thinking of getting one of these bikes for 90 bucks from craigslist but can you still get parts for theses bikes please reply back

  • Thanks so much for this. How many miles do you think you get on a full tank?

  • @loisloin sry for the late respone, around here where it is hilly i get about 90 mpg

  • looks nice but why did u want to get what was literally a moped rather than a scooter?

  • for two reasons. I like the look of mopeds, and if i would have gotten a scooter, i would have needed a motorcycle license to use it. Moped do not require a motorcycle license in my state

  • So you don't need any licence? I live in the UK and we need atleast a provisional moped license to ride a 50cc scooter or Moped

  • here in Connecticut, anything 50cc and under, a license is not needed.

  • lucky

  • @kualalumpar hey i live in CT aswell but i was pulled over on my scooter and the cop said hey you need a licences

  • in connecticut the moped must be under 2 brake horse power and have no more than a 50cc engine. Also it must have pedals since the police catagorize it as a bike with a helper motor.

  • Very cool! When I was younger, I had a JAWA. My friend's dad started it up for me and it was great. I bought it and got it going once and never got it started again

    :( They're gone now

So where is your plate young man??

    ;)

Not sure what it's like with your laws but in Canada last time I checked, you needed a moped plate, a full G liscence and insurance.

Have fun, be safe....don't forget to buckleup....no wait, try to go limp in the event of a crash.

  • haha, fortunately here in Connecticut i dont need plates! Sorry to hear about your JAWA haha

  • looks great!
