Hey LondonEngland, I spent 25 years in Miami, up until 1990....one of my best buddies was Bob Barea, one of the top DJ's throughout South Fla...he used to DJ at "Visions of Kendall", Gambits, even Level Three by airport. The Nightclubs there could rival in NYC during that era...one of my favorites was "Faces in the Grove", right in the heart of Coconut Grove, and if there was no babes to be had...we ended up at Casola's Pizza on SW 17th Ave, right off US 1. Like it or not, the Cover Girls in the mid '80's, played a huge role in the start of comeback of the popularity of dance music in the US.

They lead the ground for 90's dance acts from Snap, C & C Music Factory to Cathy Dennis and more. Even later on "techno" too.

True story, in the summer of 1988 my brother and I went down to TJ Mexico, at some night club, I can't remember the exact name, maybe the RocK?. They were headlining. They began to sing this song and the taller hispanic one grabbed me and pulled me on to the stage and began to sing this song. I zeroed on the lead singers voice. It was fantastic! MARGO: Is now okay. I regret to say she had a bout with a rare type of Cancer which she was recently presented an award for overcoming. There are some recent photos of her online.

She is so beautiful it hurts! She looks incredible and appears to be very happy. I believe her mate is Richard "Bo" Dietl who is a very successful retired NYPD Detective, Actor and CEO of Beau Dietl & Associates which is one of the largest Private Investigation firms.
