  • Love playing Blackjack? What if there were truly a secret that nobody knew about with respect to the game of blackjack? And what if the very thing everybody thought were true about blackjack, was actually the exact opposite of the truth? Check us out

    google blackjack secret code.

  • i disagree with gus' play on the flop he should have re-raised, no?

  • @jaldron6172

Sounds good, can we play soon my full tilt poker ID is criset4248 =]

    And yes

Full Tilt today disclosed to all the facebook fans that a new player should head on over to Full Tilts website, then register an account using the code AMERICAS.

Awesome trick to score fast free $ to get better with. Make a deposit and they DOUBLE it also a couple other important perks. Sadly only gonna work for the first 2000 people that sign up using this

  • they probably played with each other hundred of times, know how they play.

  • horrible check on the turn by benyamine

  • @heavencito no - most hands would check after the king comes because often your opponent floats you with AK in that position. Betting DBs hand on the turn gives away too much info. It narrows his hands down to AK, AA or complete air. Deception about your true hand is extremely important in top level play. Gus just made a good fold on the river - mainly because he was sick about how he played the hand. I think he made 3 mistakes: should have bet 1st preflop, 3bet preflop, and check/raise flop.

  • yea db is an awesome played and highly unknown/under rated

  • the gd thing about this hand is that gus knows he've made mistakes

  • db really is a great player

  • 0.42: "Heineken" :P

  • haha love Gus's comment at the end

  • This is a nice aggresive table to watch.

  • why? You think that check makes it more likely that he gets paid off if he bets big on the river?

I'd say bet flop bet turn bet river at these stakes, it's not a $6 game where bet flop - check turn - big bet river almost always means a bluff

  • i love this kind of atmosphere with the music on the back! long life to poker!

  • lol @ traniello, negreanu and antonius speaking italian during the hand :D

  • Nice music! :D

  • benyamine is a very good player i rate him highly

  • The only hands David is representing are JJ and QQ. Both of which aren't going to get value from the 99/TT that Gus likely has. Only JJ.

  • Didn't like the turn check. If he had air, he would be the turn 100% of the time. I think Gus would have called flop & turn and folded river.

  • n fold

  • wtf the music is so weird

  • Sounds like the Mafia Soundtrack...

  • I think its Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grapelli

  • @whitem5000 it's gipsy jazz, and it rocks ;)

  • @whitem5000 No it's good.

  • @whitem5000 It's gypsy jazz.

  • an interesting point about the quick check by david on the turn. david had the A of spades. the turn came the K of spades, putting 2 spades on board- so David could possibly had been able to represent AQ of spades - meaning that on the flop he makes a standard c-bet and when he picks up the nut-flush draw on the turn he lets a card come off. actually the quick check could mean he has AQ of spades trying to represent pocket QQ- he has a queen in his hand so it's somewhat easier to represent that.

  • He's representing Q's because of the Q in the hand he's representing? No one goes to that high a level.

  • maybe, but before good thinking player bet, they think what they might be representing, what's their game plan for the rest of the hand, etc...

David might be v-betting 100% of the time, but it doesn't mean that lines and numbers don't run through his head when he does so...

  • In this format? No way, bud. :p

  • of course could fold preflop, bud.

  • benyamine played this hand well.

pf raise is given, but can also call to see flop and keep pot down while being in position but tourney i would opt to raise. depends on speed gus was playing.

flop bet was well sized cuz dry board and a raise by gus can be called by benyamine if the price is right.

turn check is the best part of the hand.

    river bet was equally pro.

gus made a good c/f on the riv but unsure as to whether he had the best of it which lead to his worst play the hand after.

  • is that mafia the game music in the background?

    nice =)

  • gus shouldve reraised on the flop to see where he's at with his 9s. big pairs call and gus knows that he's beat, weak hands like ak fold and can't draw out on him. but as always, it's easy to judge when you see the holecards. good laydown anyways on the river.

  • I don't think benyamine would have folded his AK after a big raise from hansen..

  • big bairs would jsut re re raise.

  • yeah and then he can easily fold

  • yea you said big pairs would call in your last comment. im jsut correcting you and saying they would raise.

  • If he check-raised? I don't know, I think a call is more likely.

  • ah i misread the comment i thought the comment said reraise preflop. anyways yea a big pair would call

  • Fold AK preflop? I don't think so, bud.

  • Tough lay down. Great player makes these lay downs, Gus is the man.

  • GO GUSSY
