I totally remember that. I was getting a drink and my mom was watching the news. I heard her scream "WHAT?! HE DIED?!" So I was thinking, "Oh no, did someone in my family die?" so i ran over and mj was on the tv. I asked her what happened and she told me that MJ had died. I was devestated and i didnt know why. I mean i wasnt obsessed with him or anything. But it hit me.

I remember i just got back from the pool, well actully it started poring out and my friends and I ran back to my house, then we got a txt sayin he died. creepy, just like how quickly the weather changed. And people who make fun of him never really new how hard his life was and they didnt understand him. he was the most creative artist of his generation and he cared about everyone. the world is very different today without him, but he's in a better place now where he's not in pain. rip mj

I was at a friend's pool party, then I went to her house. I came back and my mom and brother were watching TV. She told me to look at the TV and said "Michael Jackson is dead". I said "really". Before, I had never heard one of his songs and known it was his song. Now I listen to more of his songs and I think he's awesome and wish he didn't die. I don't believe the rumors about him. I made the cut for a talent show, and I'm gonna dance to Thriller with some of my friends.

I was with my mom sitting on the couch..I live in Detroit and that day it was storming..soo first the news came on saying Michael Jackson had heart attack or cardiaz arrest and i said oh he will be ok then like 10 minutes later they went on commercial and the next second it was a breaking news alert sayin Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50!! I was soo shocked because i lost my daddy when i was 12.
